Unfortunately, this is not satire. He really did say this and it was not faked.

We are in a lot of trouble, folks.

For one, the SF was 1918 and ended in 1920 and two, WWII was 1939-1945.  This idiot claims to be top of his class at Warton, something that has been proven to be false.  Even one of professors said that he was the stupidest student he ever tried to teach.

Despite the US president attesting to the fact he finished “ top of his class ” at Wharton business school of the   University of Pennsylvania , his former professor college professor William T. Kelley had another view.

After Kelley’s death, Frank DiPrima a close friend of Kelley revealed that the professor felt the president was a fool.

“Professor Kelley told me 100 times over three decades that ‘Donald Trump was the dumbest goddam student I ever had,'” DiPrima   wrote   for   the Daily Kos.

“I remember his emphasis and inflection — it went like this — ‘Donald Trump was the  dumbest goddam  student I  ever  had’

DiPrima explained that Kelley told him this after Trump became a celebrity, but “long before” he was deemed a political figure.

“Dr. Kelley often referred to Trump’s arrogance when he told of this — that Trump came to Wharton thinking he already knew everything,” Di Prima added.

DiPrima’s revelation is the latest in the series of question over the US President’s academic record. According to   T he Daily Pennsylvania , Trump’s  na me was not  on the   Wharton Dean’s List in 1968 , the year he graduated despite him allowing media to report for years that he graduated first in his class at Wharton. If he had performed as exceptionally well as is commonly believed, his name would be present.

What ever he says gets brushed aside.

I am now thinking they accuse Biden of not having the mental capacity because of donald's dimwitted comments.

Projection is a republican strong point.

I'm still at a loss as to how the right keeps supporting him. hell, I served under 2nd Lt's in the Corps who were smarter than this guy. At least they had some sense of honor and dignity, some thing this president and his supporters seem to lack. There is NO honor in supporting a known liar and thief.

Comrade Adam says:

Spanish flu was also contribution to Napoleon's loss to Russia in Great Patriotic War of 1812. This is little know fact.

French soldiers fighting in Spain who lacked  correct political indoctrination and sufficient motivation were shipped to Russian front.

Upon arrival new soldiers who attempted social distancing of 1 or 2 kilometers were shot as deserters. Surviving 7 soldiers spread Spanish flu to entire French army and a couple of horses. Rumors of typhus and mild Russian winter as causes are greatly exaggerated .

Most credit for glorious defeat of Napoleon go to patriotic Russian people willing to sacrifice for motherland.

Anyway, is hard to take soldier seriously who has  croissants for breakfast.

So,  Spanish flu end WW2 and Great Patriotic War too.

So, it's either a brain fart, on the order of "57 states," or he is one of many people who envision the 7 Years War as the first "world war" and the war that ended in 1918 as the second "world war." I never really thought of him as the "nerdy historian" type, so I'm guessing it's the former.

He's not wrong about the flu, though. There has been a lot of discussion and analysis over the years about how the war promoted mutation and spread of the flu, and how, in turn, the flu itself impacted the war.

I get what you're saying, Tacos, but the thing is this is not the only "brain fart" the man has had over the last 4 years. He consistently gets things wrong, makes things up, and can't pronounce words correctly (Yo-Semite or Thighland, anyone?)

He aced his dementia test? Where is his family, I mean they have to realize the harm he is doing to them by hanging on like this. The timeline of his speech and language issues is recorded for all time and will be replayed over and over again leaving his family to deal with future questions on why they ignored it. Surely even his wife would at this point threaten to leave him if he doesn't step down based on health issues so they can possibly recoup some measure of dignity going forward.
