Chicken Bog
4 chicken breasts, skinned
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 large chopped onion
1 green pepper, chopped
1/2 pound smoked ham
1 large link Kielbasa sausage sliced then quartered
1/4 tablespoon chili powder
3 cloves chopped garlic
1 Bay leaf
4 cups chicken stock
2 cups of rice
Black pepper, to taste
Lightly flour chicken and cook in olive oil at medium to medium-high heat until well browned then remove. Add onion, green pepper, ham, sausage and garlic. Cook until onion and green pepper are soft. Meanwhile debone the chicken. Transfer all the ingredients to a large stock pot and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and cook at least 30 minutes but it's better after about an hour. I like to serve with French rolls but sliced French or Italian bread goes pretty good with it too.
Oh for goodness sake. Can someone that is able to, please tag this appropriately for me?
Thanks!
That's what I thought but when I scrolled down there was no box. But as I said I'm doing it from my phone and probably lagged some and the box hadn't loaded.
Greg,
Next time create the article and post it first. Then once it is posted, follow TTGA's instructions to add the Tag name. The Tag name box may not show up until after you have posted the article. The Tag name box will look like the following:
Yep, it didn't for me either. Took me a while to figure that out too.
Me too! There are still areas where we are all in a learning curve it seems.
Looks delicious.
