Hi Lady, this sounds like a great recipe. I'll have to give this one a try.

Do you want to share your recipe on the FP or just in the group? I ask as the Promote option does not work automatically so the box must be checked in order for it to be posted to the FP as well. IF you wish to share on the FP we can edit the article to do so.

Lady,

This sounds great.  Do you also, by any chance, happen to have a recipe for the coating on chicken wings.  My wife uses one that is much like the coating used on oven roasted chicken, but not quite as good as the same type that we've had from commercial sources (Sam's Club).

Great to have you in the group.  Lots of good food upcoming.

You're all done and upon the FP and added to the Recipe Article Index. The index for the Cookbook makes it easier to find the recipe article once it runs off the main page. So all anyone has to do is open the Index, look up the name of the recipe and click on the related Link and open the recipe.

That is why we add the Tags to the articles so that we can set them up in the Index.

The melted butter and hot sauce is what is used to coat authentic Buffalo wings.

You can use less hot sauce if you like mild or medium wings

Of course if you can't buy Frank's you can use your local hot sauce

Frank's Redhot Original Buffalo Chicken Wings

Makes: 8 servings
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients

Directions:

Preheat oven to 450°F.  Mix butter and RedHot Sauce in medium bowl; set aside.

Arrange wings on large foil-lined pan. Bake on lowest oven rack for 30 minutes or until crispy, turning once.

Toss wings in sauce mixture until well coated. Serve with blue cheese and celery, if desired.

But, if they're not hot, they're just not Buffalo Wings.

This one sounds really good.  Have to get with my son to make some up.  We both like the hot stuff, the kind that will burn your eyes out from the inside.

Best one I've ever had is the hot mustard sauce that I get with the egg rolls at our local Chinese/Thai restaurant. They don't use the commercially made sauce, the lady who does the cooking makes it herself.  She told me she makes up a new batch whenever she can get fresh cartridges for her gas mask.  That stuff does clear out the sinuses.
