Tacos
Once in a while my daughter and I make this for a snack. Kids would have fun making them.
You will need:
lettuce chopped about a cup
Tomatoes chopped about a cup
Grated cheddar cheese about a cup
Sour cream a half cup
1 pound of ground beef
Taco seasoning ( I use 2 packs of Old ElPaso mild seasoning) you can use medium and spicy if you prefer it hotter.
Old ElPaso or any other hard crunchy taco shells
Taco sauce ( I use mild, but you can use spicier if you like)
A platter with sections, or bowls.
Brown ground beef, you can put 2 Tablespoons of dried onions if you like. When cooked all the way through, add the 2 packs of seasoning and whatever water they say on the directions. You can drain the meat first, but if you buy leaner beef you don’t have too. Cook and simmer for 15 minutes.
In each section or bowl, but each ingredient by itself in them.
Put platter or bowls on the table with sauce and plenty of napkins and enjoy!!!

Outstanding! Who doesn't love some tacos!
The tacos I had last night from the local restaurant were pretty decent, but when I make them myself, I mix a couple pounds of ground beef (or ground turkey if you like) with a 12oz package of pork chorizo. It's all the seasoning you need. Also, I often make my own shells, but that does turn a relatively simple meal into a good hour of hovering over the stove. It's a commitment, for sure.
Yummies! This forum is A-MAZ-ING!
Keep up the stellar features. I am not a big-time eater (working to get a flat tummy) these days, but boy O boy, this is the 'Joint.'
Hmmm, I smell tacos! This weekend I am thinking about a certain 'show' opener fiesta, and this looks light and appropriate!
