7 Layer Dip
1 can of refried beans (15 oz)
1 lb ground beef
1 package taco seasoning
1 jar picante sauce (8 oz)
2 medium tomatoes, chopped
1 bunch green onions with tops, thinly sliced
8 oz shredded cheddar cheese
1 can of sliced ripe olives (4 oz)
Heat refried beans to a pliable state, then spread on bottom of serving dish. Brown ground beef and add taco seasoning. Layer over beans. Add next five layers in order listed. Serve with corn or tortilla chips. My preference is Frito scoops and sourcream on the side.
