Six days until Georgia's unique election
"I think, you know, the thing that we've got to make sure is, is that everybody has confidence in the process that we're going to have on January the 5th. So I've been working very hard where I can within the laws and the powers that I have. And there's certainly a lot of misunderstanding on that. But I have called for the signature audit multiple times. Thankfully, the secretary of state has finally said that he's going to do that in Cobb County, where at least we can see if there's any kind...

In case anyone has missed it there is an all important election in the state of Georgia, which is only 6 days away. Thus far, as of yesterday, over 2.3 million people have already voted through mail-in ballots or in-person early voting for the two races. The so called "changing Georgia" has been a target of democrats both in the presidential election and even more so now in the Senate run-off elections. Like many key states in the 2020 election, Georgia experienced statistical anomalies:

In Georgia, Biden overtook Trump with 89 percent of the votes counted. For the next 53 batches of votes counted, Biden led Trump by the same exact 50.05 to 49.95 percent margin in every single batch. It is particularly perplexing that all statistical anomalies and tabulation abnormalities were in Biden’s favor. Whether the cause was simple human error or nefarious activity, or a combination, clearly something peculiar happened.

Democrats have had their point man, Marc Elias of Russia hoax fame leading the charge. There is also the ominous machinations of the heinous Stacey Abrams.

The players:

Marc Elias

He was the Democrat lawyer behind the Russia “dossier” and has been instrumental in getting voting rules changed and extending mail-in-voting in key battleground states. Most recently he sued to get questionable voters on the rolls for the upcoming Senate run-off elections.  He lists five cases of interest in the runoff, which pits incumbent Republican Sens. David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler against Democratic challengers Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock, respectively:

  1. RNC v. State Election Board : a Republican challenge demanding that poll watchers be allowed to observe voting and counting, and opposing the use of ballot “drop boxes” — or, if they are used, demanding access to surveillance videos.
  2. Twelfth Congressional District Republican Committee v. Raffensperger : a Republican challenge against Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger seeking to invalidate recent rules that allow ballot drop boxes, that permit the opening and scanning of absentee ballots before Election Day, and that make signature verification impractical.
  3. Georgia Republican Party v. Raffensperger : a challenge by state and federal Republican leaders, along with both Republican Senate campaigns, demanding improved signature matching to guarantee the integrity of absentee ballots.
  4. New Georgia Project v. Kaplan : a Democrat (though officially non-partisan) challenge by an organization   founded by Stacey Abrams  that objects to Macon-Bibb County not providing early voting on three dates (12/19, 12/31, 1/4).
  5. New Georgia Project v. Evans : another challenge, similar to #4, regarding early voting in Athens-Clarke County.
  6. New Georgia Project v. Shelton : another challenge, similar to #4 and #5, regarding early voting in Houston County.
  7. New Georgia Project v. Willis : another challenge, similar to #4, #5, and #6, on early voting in Paulding County.

Stacey Abrams

The woman who never conceded her loss in the GA Governor's election. The woman who has steadfastly led the fight against voter integrity in Georgia. After her defeat she organized  "Fair Fight" to push for progressive priorities, and her supporters credit her with contributing to an 80,000 person increase in registered voters! She has focused on the very young and of course -those engaged in identity politics. If the democrats can win the two GA Senate seats, she might even become Biden's pick (God help us all) for AG!

Governor Brian Kemp

Arguably the most laid back man in politics, Gov Kemp has said nothing about the Secretary of State’s  unconstitutional deal with Stacey Abrams, referred to as a consent decree. It was an agreement to match ballot signatures to ballot application signatures instead of what the law says. The law demands that ballot signatures must match up to a drivers license or the voter registration application.  Why did Sos Raffensperger make such a deal? Some think he was compromised by donations for allowing Dominion Voting Systems to have their machines participate in the 2020 election. In any event Gov Kemp has been strangely lethargic about addressing any abuse of election integrity. Perhaps he is compromised as well?

U.S. District Judge Leslie Abrams Gardner

The sister of Stacey Abrams is the same judge who refused to recuse herself in hearing a case involving two counties that voted to remove a stack of voters’ names from their rosters after two separate complaints alleged that publicly available voter registration data matched unverified change-of-address records by the U.S. Postal Service. Guess how she ruled?

She ruled against the purge of 4,000 voters, who may no longer live in GA from state rolls before Senate runoffs. What a shock!

Senate Minority leader Schumer

The strangest thing of all. Sen Chuck Schumer must be seeing something we are not because is no longer meeting with donors!

True or false?

"Schumer is "pessimistic" about Warnock and Ossoff's chances in Georgia next week and doesn't want to ruin donor relationships, the source adds.

"This is absolutely not true and this anonymous 'source' has no idea what they’re talking about, and it's really sad NBC published it. Schumer has diligently made calls and fundraised for both Georgia candidates and is optimistic about their chances in January," said Justin Goodman, a spokesperson for Schumer."

Radical candidates Warnock and Ossoff

Both democratic candidates are now mired in scandal. It is also noteworthy that polling, now known as "push polling" has most likely elevated the real chances of both democratic candidates. After 4 years of outrageously bad polling, we can now only assume that the polling is only a method to discourage Republican voters. Speaking of Republican voters, they won't have any soul searching in this election - Donald Trump is not on the ballot.

The flowers and the dog are to ease your hurt over this loss

Which would be my suggestion .

As well as stop calling everyone to the left of David Duke "radical" and "socialist". It only proves that you are more than willing to follow Trump down the Rabbit hole of craziness.

This sentence

Is evidence of just that.

Turnout will probably be the same, so given the predilections of the voters in GA to vote right leaning instead of left leaning, they probably have little realistic chance of upsetting balance of power in the Senate.

Vic, I am sorry to tell you that you can not forbid a function of the site and embeds of pictures are allowed. You are allowed to specify a type of photo or picture that is not allowed i.e. Memes.

Perrie, that sounds nice, but we know how things get abused. So are you saying that any pictures are allowed - even the ones a former member used to post of Michelle Obama?

Not speaking for Perrie but the way I take it, a pic or meme can still be called off topic, and the like, and be moderated as a comment would. One just cannot do a total ban of a site function.

There will be another special election in regards to the newly elected LA Republican to Congress Luke Letlow who just passed away from the CV.   He is the highest ranked politician to die from it so far.

"Republicans in
Georgia   say they’ve recruited more than 8,000 volunteers in the state to serve as poll watchers for next week’s twin  Senate runoff elections , where the GOP majority in  the Senate   is at stake."
