When a Crisis becomes a Challenge.
As thousands of unaccompanied minors cross the US border and newly opened containment facilities quickly fill up, Joe Biden's new DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas was asked if there was a crisis on the southern border.
He lied. He said No. He said there was a " challenge." He also added: "A message to those individuals who are thinking of coming to our border: They need to wait."
Translation: they came because the election of Joe Biden meant they were welcome, but right now the surge at the border has political consequences even though the dishonest American media barely covers it, so we hope they hear what Mayorkas is telling them.
"We are not saying don’t come," he continued. "We are saying don’t come now."
Those are the words of our radical new DHS Secretary. How does that make you feel? Don't live near the border and don't care? Are you worried about all of them coming during a pandemic? Anyone working an entry level job, who is concerned?
Customs and Border Protection took custody of 5,900 unaccompanied migrant children in January, a number that is expected to grow to 13,000 in May, according to Axios .
“We are not apprehending a 9-year-old child who’s come alone, who has traversed Mexico, whose parents, whose loving parents, had sent that child alone,” he stated. “We’re not expelling that 9-year-old child to Mexico when that child’s origin, country of origin, was Guatemala, Honduras or El Salvador.”
Critics have said “loving parents” do not send their children into crime ridden areas and have pointed to the documented cases of child exploitation and sex-trafficking in Northern Mexico."

The Biden administration recently reopened the holding complex at Carrizo Springs, Texas. The facility was vilified when President Trump used it but is now characterized as a humane facility for immigrant children. The deal that Donald Trump forged with Mexico and other countries to hold other individuals seeking asylum is also gone. It shall be interesting to watch this progressive dream to flood the nation with all those who care to come plays out.
Joe's handlers can change the words and label what is happening and the msm can play it down, but they have set the woods on fire.
Let's see how Mayorkas manages the challenge.

Joe Biden doesn't have a policy. And that's driving what's going on at the border.
The Biden administration is taking a head-in-sand position hoping that ignoring what is happening means the public won't notice. And that appears to be working.
Is it that the public isn't noticing or they aren't being properly informed?
There's still social media. If videos of police activities posted on social media spur public notice then the same is possible for what is happening at the border.
Social media drives the news as much as the MSM drives social media. All it takes is a smart phone and an internet connection. Of course there is the problem of grassroots reporting being fact-checked into oblivion.

Biden and the Democrats were ringing the dinner bell long and hard throughout the Presidential campaign; and he hasn't stopped since he took office. They can act shocked by the response all they want; they are getting exactly what they asked for.
Of course the far looney toon left (like AOC) don't think he is going far enough. They won't be satisfied until the US has no borders.
