The Left’s COVID Insanity Is Creating A Once-In-A-Lifetime Opportunity For Conservatives
How many other liberals feel this way today? How many are coming to realize that the left is a cesspool of close-minded haters? That it is the definition of mob justice? That progressives don’t have you or your family’s best interest in mind? That they are the secular version of religious zealots? How many are realizing that the left’s intolerance isn’t limited to COVID, but that this is how it approaches every issue, where if you don’t toe the line perfectly you get canceled? Then ask...

The Left’s COVID Insanity Is Creating A Once-In-A-Lifetime Opportunity For Conservatives

How many times can leftists reveal themselves to be intolerant, close-minded, dogmatic, bigoted, cruel, unforgiving, race-mongers while claiming to be the virtuous ones? Two recent events – both of which took place in uber-liberal San Francisco – suggest that the time for leftists honoring themselves might soon be at an end.

Last week, San Franciscans voted overwhelmingly – and we’re talking an average margin of 75-25 – to recall three school board members for, as the Washington Post put it, being “too focused on racial justice.”

Actually, the last straw for parents was the fact that, instead of reopening schools, the board was fixated on renaming 44 of them that carry names of those currently disfavored by leftists. You know, deplorables such as George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, Paul Revere, and … California Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein.

Feinstein? She was the first female mayor of that city, and her voting record in 2019 and 2020 was more liberal than Sen. Kamala Harris’, according to Americans for Democratic Action. Not good enough, apparently. The left wants to cancel her for the sin of  “replacing a damaged Confederate flag that was part of an 18-banner historical display outside of City Hall when she was mayor of San Francisco in 1984,” according to one account.

How’s that for tolerance?

It gets better. One of the board members who was recalled essentially called everyone who voted to give her the boot a white supremacist. “Don’t be mistaken, white supremacists are enjoying this. And the support of the recall is aligned with this,” Gabriela López tweeted.

Over the weekend, San Francisco Mayor London Breed admitted on “Meet the Press” that “We failed our children. Parents were upset. The city as a whole was upset, and the decision to recall school board members was a result of that.”

When even people in San Francisco can grasp the fact that the woke left doesn’t have their children’s interests in mind, they might also be open to rethinking their prejudices about conservatives.

The second jump-the-shark item came in the form of an op-ed published in the New York Post by a former top executive Levi Strauss & Co.

From a leftist perspective, Jennifer Sey did all the right things. She was a working mom with four children who rose through the company ranks, going from assistant marketing manager to global brand president, and was in line to be the company’s next CEO.

At Levi’s, Sey was the executive sponsor for the black employees group and two of her children are mixed race. She was an outspoken supporter of Sen. Elizabeth Warren during the presidential primaries.

No matter. Sey had the temerity to complain about the pointless COVID public school shutdowns. That did it. The left called her a racist, a eugenicist, a QAnon groupie. She was accused of being anti-science, anti-fat, anti-trans.

They also castigated me for my husband’s COVID views,” she wrote, “as if I, as his wife, were responsible for the things he said on social media.”

Even though she wasn’t speaking for the company, Levi’s executives told her to stop expressing her views. This is a company, mind you, that openly champions every leftist cause on the books. The company’s head of “Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion” even told her to go on an “apology tour” because she was not being “a friend of the black community at Levi’s.”

She didn’t apologize. After suffering all this abuse from the “open-minded,” “tolerant,” “love-filled” left, she resigned and refused to take a $1 million severance payout because it included a nondisclosure agreement that would have kept her silent about her reasons for leaving.

Here’s how Sey describes Levi’s today:

“It’s trapped trying to please the mob – and silencing any dissent within the organization. In this, it is like so many other American companies: held hostage by intolerant ideologues who do not believe in genuine inclusion or diversity.”

Then ask yourselves, how many of these people understand that the left has been lying to them about conservatives all these years? How many of them would be willing to listen to conservatives talk about why freedom, liberty, and the ability to pursue your own happiness is preferable to the left’s dogma and dictates? That compassion isn’t measured by how much money the government spends, but by individual actions?

There’s an opportunity here for conservatives, but only if conservatives stop attacking each other and start reaching out to those who’ve had the scales fall from their eyes to show them that the grass really is greener on the other side.

Total nonsense.  People who are upset about the restrictions are already right wing voters.

It would seem that you are wrong.  The branch covidians are though moving the center, center left, and moderate liberals away from intolerant progressive statists and cancel culture types

Insanity is a nation claiming to have the bestest healthcare in the world having one of the highest covid death rates.

And yet the states that had the longest lockdowns, the most extensive mask mandates, vaccine mandates to firing people not vaccinated to passports to go in public indoors had the worst rates of all.  We also had the highest rates because we cracked down hardest on the use of Hydrochloroquiene, ivermectin, and rationed post disease treatments like monoclonal antibodies and the newer tami flu like meds for covid.

It is political science not hard science causing blue government at all levels to finally begin to let go of their branch covidian power grab.
