Washington Times opinion editor Charlie Hurt: ‘It’s high time to impeach Biden’

Washington Times opinion editor Charlie Hurt minced no words in a piece published this week calling for the impeachment of President Joe Biden and urging Republicans to start the process now.
“This White House is the most corrupt administration in modern history. It is high time to impeach Biden,” Hurt began.
“Republicans should impeach Mr. Biden over his refusal to enforce American laws that protect our borders,” he wrote . “He has purposefully undermined the constitution he swore to uphold and defend. It is just that simple. Mr. Biden’s treasonous actions have left our borders wide open.”
His opinion, while making liberal heads explode, is shared with Fox News host Laura Ingraham who recently sat down with Hurt, a Fox News contributor, on “ The Ingraham Angle ” to discuss his call for the impeachment of Biden for what he terms “border treason” following plans to lift Title 42.
In an impassioned exchange with Ingraham, Hurt explained, “Migrants south of the border — they’re watching the news. They know that President Biden has turned on a welcome light to draw all of them to the country, and they are even aware of this issue with Title 42. They are poised to come into this country, and they know that they will get away with it, and they know that they will be welcomed.”
Title 42, implemented under the Trump administration in March of 2020 allows border control agencies to send undocumented immigrants back to their country of origin based on their exposure to communicable diseases, in this instance COVID 19. The program was designed to stop undocumented immigrants from dodging health-screening measures and potentially spreading disease throughout the US.
Border control agents estimate a surge of around 250,000 illegals monthly throughout this summer alone. Hurt thinks that now is the best time for Republicans to begin talking about this historic invasion at the southern border, telling Ingraham, “They should make the election about this issue so that when they win in November, they will have a greater mandate, an important mandate.”
The crisis at the border is quickly becoming a solid voter concern from all sides. Hurt explained.
“This is an issue that matters to Republican voters, but also to Democrat voters,” he said. “As Donald Trump proved to politicians in Washington, it also matters to Hispanic voters, for example, who want to have a secure border. Everybody wants to have a secure border. It’s not a controversial issue. “
To prove Hurt’s point, even some Democrats are warning Biden against lifting Title 42. Among them are Senators Joe Manchin, Krysten Sinema, Maggie Hassan, and Raphael Warnock, some of whom are seeking difficult re-elections in their states.
In his editorial, Hurt blasted the mainstream media for refusing to acknowledge the Biden family’s past questionable activities, and for covering him to ensure he would win the 2020 election.
“The only people more corrupt than the Biden Crime Family are members of the media who lied to protect them and promote them into the White House. The craven Bidens would be powerless without the dishonest media,” he wrote.
“All the Bidens’ sleazy corruption — sprawling from Ukraine to China — has gotten so bad that even Democrats are starting to turn on the old codger. That — along with the media’s sudden admission that all the evidence is real and accurate — spells doom for Mr. Biden,” Hurt continued, noting the “sterling political opportunity for Republicans.”
“They should immediately begin preparing impeachment proceedings against the weakened Mr. Biden so that the minute they take control of Congress next January, they can get right to removing the president,” he proposed.
“Republicans in Congress should put Mr. Biden on notice now and start defending the constitution the president has already shredded,” Hurt concluded.
Is the expansion of the Democrat voter base worth charges of treason? Biden may find out in November.

Nope. impeachment is for High Crimes and Misdemeanors, not being lame at the job. I said that about Trump. I say it about Biden. And I say it about every president.
Congress is the branch that needs to fix the border and immigration.

They impeached Trump for no legitimate reason twice. Once after he left office. Biden has committed treason a deliberate high crime against we the people. His corrupt business dealings are also a matter for impeachment. We have him on tape admitting g to blackmailing Ukraine for US tax payer aid dollars.
