It’s NYC’s Mayor Vs. Florida’s Guv … And The Winner Is?
Robert Knight, a columnist for the Washington Times, tells AFN that Adams’ campaign shows how out of touch New York is with the rest of the country. “Governor DeSantis is a hero to many – and he’s seen as a probable presidential candidate for sticking up for families [and] sanity when it comes to all this sexual disorientation going on,” says the conservative activist. “He’s doing things other governors are not daring to do – and for that New York is hoping to lure people back to a crazy...

Way to go New York City!  Lol!  What a clown show that place is.  They lose 320k population in one year to red states and this is their response?  What a sick joke.  This parental rights in education is the perfect illustration of the difference between red state freedom, liberty, and rights, vs the blue state emergency power dictatorships where they try to lock you up for disagreeing with them, lock you out of your churches, and try to mask your pre school toddlers. New York is one sick joke.  Long live Florida!

A pro-family activist and columnist predicts a new billboard campaign in Florida isn’t very likely to convince many people to leave the sunshine and move back to the Big Apple.

A lot of people have been leaving New York City – with its high crime rate and restrictive COVID regulations – for sunny, restriction-free Florida. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, almost 320,000 people fled NYC  between July 2020 and July 2021  … and Florida trailed only Texas in population increase during that time.

In an attempt to lure some of his former residents back, Mayor Eric Adams  has announced a digital billboard campaign  targeting five of Florida’s major cities with advertisements that read: “Come to the city where you can say whatever you want” – and “People say a lot of ridiculous things in New York. ‘Don’t Say Gay’ isn’t one of them.”

The mayor’s move is seen as a direct attack on Florida Governor Ron DeSantis for signing the “Parental Rights in Education” law, which forbids instruction on sexual orientation and gender identity in kindergarten through third grade.

Robert Knight , a columnist for the Washington Times, tells AFN that Adams’ campaign shows how out of touch New York is with the rest of the country.

“Governor DeSantis is a hero to many – and he’s seen as a probable presidential candidate for sticking up for families [and] sanity when it comes to all this sexual disorientation going on,” says the conservative activist. “He’s doing things other governors are not daring to do – and for that New York is hoping to lure people back to a crazy place where they mask a toddler in school and they push sexual disfunction.”

Florida’s Republican governor has been in the news a lot lately for refusing to cave to disgruntled Disney World employees and Disney CEO Bob Chapek  who have been publicly critical  of the pro-parental rights law. Knight says it took great courage for DeSantis to take on Disney.

“It’s a major employer in Florida. It brings in billions of dollars to his state,” Knight points out. “And yet he said [he’s] not going to sacrifice families on Disney’s altar. [He’s telling Disney] when you go pushing sexual material on children and you’re jamming the LGBTQ agenda down their throats, ‘I’m not going to stay silent no matter what happens.'”

Mayor Adams’ billboard campaign, according to the New York Post, will be displayed for eight weeks in five Florida cities: Fort Lauderdale, Jacksonville, Orlando, Tampa, and West Palm Beach.

The whole Democrat party is out touch with mainstream normal Americans

Without a doubt that is true. That is why most of them concentrate themselves in high density urban areas along the east and west coasts and Great Lakes and insulate themselves in cocoon bubble echo chambers with little to no exposure to mainstream main st. Heartland America

Based on what is going on in NYC it seems not only can you say what you want you can also do what you want, including attacking people on the subway and attacking Asian Americans.  So much for the law and order Mayor he promised to be.  But move there if you are against parental rights, safety, sun and fun like they have in Florida, just don't let your kids be seen without a mask.

“…sun and fun like they have in Florida…”

…just stay away from Disneyworld!

Let’s weigh the scales…Tallahassee vs. NYC?

For anyone who has spent time in both, there is really no comparison…give me New York, warts and all, unless the highlight of your FL experience is going to a mall.

I can't speak to that but to my knowledge there is not alot of people that are moving out of Tallahassee to go to NYC nor does it seem Adams wants them there enough to put billboards up about it. My guess is he can't get any virtue signal points from it.

I will mention that I live an hour and a half train ride from NYC and went there often before the Pandemic.  I saw it go from seedy to family friendly and heading back to seedy.  I am not in a hurry to visit again and sure would not move there.

Shouldn’t you be comparing Tallahassee to Albany and maybe Miami-Ft. Lauderdale to NYC?

Really shows that Adams has no idea what he's talking about.

I had seen another article where this Democrat dipshit was, pretty much saying, "Come to NYC and we'll indoctrinate your kids for you".
