Christmas notes
We are only about 4 days away from Christmas. Most of the country is getting severe winter weather conditions. Where I am it looks like a lot of heavy rain Thursday into Friday. What shopping I had to do has been done long ago and I am now one of those who likes doing every bit of it online. The only thing I miss is the malls that had that gift wrapping center. I am sure there are some still around, I just never found one close. With all of that out of the way, I'm looking forward to the look of delight on little faces, a nice roast dinner and a rare church appearance by yours truly. Hopefully the walls of the church won't fall down.
Here's what I heard yesterday: Elon Musk actually ran a poll asking Twitter members if they wanted him running the day-to-day operations. Most said he should step aside. Then Snoop-Dog ran a poll asking how many wanted him to take over for Musk. He got a resounding 81% positive response. My neighbor is recycling the kids toys this year by having them leave their old toys under the tree (for Toys-For-Tots). I thought it was a nice idea. I also was invited down to Florida for a nice two month stay. That may help some here with their cancel schemes. Just remember: I'll be back!
As I reflect on many happy Christmas memories, I wish my friends a Merry one and to my many Jewish friends a Happy Hanukkah.

Chicago will be in single digits Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, with windchills of -20 to -30 and wind gusts of 50mph. Oh and a lot of snow. In other words a dangerous blizzard.
