Joe Biden betrayed
“I asked President Obama not to endorse,” he said. “And he doesn’t want to — whoever wins this nomination should win it on their own merits.”......Joe Biden

The New York Times recently reported that Barak Obama allegedly told Joe Biden that he didn't have to run for the 2020 nomination! A quote is given in this little story. Obama allegedly told him 'You don't have to do this, Joe, you really don't.' Supposedly Biden responded that he would never forgive himself if he passed up a second opportunity to defeat Trump. We also learn from the Times that Biden promised that Obama never need worry about Joe running for President.

For those who haven't heard:

Let's think about the Times promoting this to the level of a news story. First who leaked this to the Times and why?  Obviously it's not the Biden campaign. That leaves the Obama people. Barak Obama dosen't want Biden running?  He has refused to endorse his former VP. Whatever reason is given, that by itself equates to a lack of confidence in Biden, either of his ability to win the general election or of his dedication to the cause.

What about the Polls? Isn't Biden well ahead of Trump as of right now?

A Fox News Poll, no less!

So, why the concern?  Could it be that certain people don't believe those Polls? Or maybe the fear is what will happen should Biden have to debate Trump?

Or maybe it's that progressive agenda that Obama was determined to ram down the throat of the United States of America:

“We are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America.” — Barack Obama, October 30, 2008.

Most of what Obama accomplished/committed, barring "health care", debt and judicial appointments, has been undone by President Trump. Is it possible that Joe Biden was never the progressive ideologue that was worthy of taking the torch?

I believe it's both. Politics is a dirty business, so nobody should be surprised to see the way Joe Biden was stabbed in the back. Liz Warren has been rising in the polls. She definitely has the progressive credentials. Does she get the Obama endorsement?

Why would you write an article about a NY Times report but link to the Washington Examiner for verification?

Is there anything in the seeded article you are actually disputing?

Because the Times is one of those newspapers that wants a subscription before you can read the story. I once posted a Times story and most readers here couldn't read it. They evidently used up their free issues or whatever. The Examiner is still free for all to see.

Does that answer your question?

Joe and the rest will need the media. Things have changed considerably since the 2016 election:

The liberal media lost their way and most of their audience.

Pete Hegseth said it best:

First it was:

Russia, Russia, Russia!

Then:

Racism, Racism, Racism!

Now:

Recession, Recession, Recession!

All leading to:

Re-election, Re-election, Re-election!

I think we can come to only one conclusion. Barak Obama dosen't want Joe Biden to be the nominee. Liberals keep making the same mistakes while becoming more & more angry.

All of it benefits the President.

Thanks to all those who kept it civil.
