'Unaccountable COVID health experts': Laura Ingraham praises Rand Paul questioning Fauci
By: Washington Examiner

Fox News host Laura Ingraham lauded Sen. Rand Paul for pressing the White House's top infectious disease expert about a range of policies and restrictions that have been adopted because of the coronavirus.
On Tuesday, Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Dr. Anthony Fauci testified before senators on the Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee, including Paul, who took the opportunity to raise skepticism about Fauci's response to the coronavirus pandemic.
What RandPaul did today at the hearing was the clearest, most concise, informed, practical response to the unaccountable COVID health experts & shutdowns I've heard from any elected official. Freedom. Period.

During the hours long briefing, Paul said Fauci and other top health officials should show "humility" when they suggest restrictive bans on businesses and personal liberties during the crisis.
"I think we ought to have a little bit of humility in our belief that we know what's best for the economy," Paul said. "And as much as I respect you, Dr. Fauci, I don't think you're the end-all. I don't think you're the one person that gets to make a decision."
Paul, who recovered in Kentucky after testing positive for the virus in March, refused to wear a mask during proceedings and criticized the lack of knowledge surrounding immunity in those who have already been infected with the disease.
"Studies show that the recovering COVID-19 patients, from the asymptomatic to the very sick, are showing significant antibody response," he said. "And yet, the media continues to report that we have no evidence that patients who survive the coronavirus have immunity. I think, actually, the truth is the opposite. We have no evidence that survivors of coronavirus don't have immunity and a great deal of evidence to suggest that they do."
