They forgot to add "organic - no pesticides or hormones", and "no animals were harmed in the making of this product", and "fewer calories than regular salt". Maybe they couldn't VERIFY those claims.
I didn't think salt could be genetically modified, either! lol..But, I can see how inorganics could be a part of the product, as they could be added as well as occurring naturally.
As for advertising, with some products it's only a matter of paying for a label with no testing, because they think their product will have better sales as a result. Honey is a product that qualifies.
