Country Music Legend Issues Bold Warning to Trump Protesters: “There Will Be Blood On the Streets”
Country music legend Charlie Daniels hasn’t ever been shy about expressing his conservatism.

Most recently, as a proud member of the NRA, he chastised fellow musicians who pushed for more gun control after the terrorist attack in Orlando.

Daniels criticized those rioting over the policies of President Donald Trump.

He compared the animosity of the left toward the right to the Civil War, and said he saw bloodshed in the streets coming.

From The Blaze:

“I see young people interviewed on television who can’t even articulate the reason they are protesting,” he wrote, adding that he’s watched “hysterical protestors screaming about First Amendment rights which they seem to think only protect them and those who think like them and that the opposition has no First Amendment protection and should be shouted down at all costs.”

He added: “The pot is boiling and it’s only a matter of time before there will be blood on the streets.”

He stood up for the right to protest, but said there was no right to break the law.

“Americans have the right to civil disobedience, a right to gather and demonstrate against some policy they feel is unfair or harmful to the country at large,” Daniels continued, “but they do not have the right to interrupt commerce, break windows, burn cars or do bodily harm to those who disagree with them.”

But Daniels had a caution for those on the left.

He also warned that those bent on destruction now need to realize that “there is an element of violence on the other side as well, a side that, thankfully, so far has not yet come forth.”

“But, should these conditions continue, someday soon the violent elements of both persuasions will find themselves on the same streets, and what will ensue will not be pretty,” Daniels said, adding that we need to “learn from history, or repeat it.”

Scary thought, especially with things are already so balkanized.

Let’s hope that sense prevails… http://www.youngcons.com/country-music-legend-issues-bold-warning-to-trump-protesters-there-will-be-blood-on-the-streets/

We need calm on all sides and to pray for peace.  The expression of one persons or groups rights can not lead to the elimination of or repression of another persons or groups rights under the constitution.

Comment removed for CoC violation [ph] your faux sniffling over your lost "rights".

Every stinking day we have to endure another five articles from you about how leftists are trampling your rights, "rioting" everywhere, and persecuting your religion. NONE OF WHICH IS TRUE.

Leftists are the scum of the earth and the leftists in Chicago have blood in the streets everyday.

Wonderful rebuttal.  All disagreements should end with "go fuck yourself. " That convinces others to think you are intelligent and thinking correctly.

It is one thing to peacefully assemble and protest to address grievances.  It is one thing to have and use free speech rights.  One does not have the right to turn from peaceful protest to violence or to use their free speech rights to prevent another theirs by shouting them down or making it impossible for them to publicly speak or be heard.

I think the Devil Went Down to Georgia, Looking For a Soul to Steal, and found Charlie Daniels...  What a load of clap trap!

Daniels is right.  People on the left think it ok for them to silence their opponents and engage in violence to punish dissent and that the right is going to forever turn the other cheek.
