You're probably wondering which kind of Indian he is-- the owner of a 7-11 or motel, or a computer programmer? In his case he's a programmer. And in his case he's the kind of Indian from India (not an indigenous American).

Many people have stereotypes about various minority groups. Some stereotypes are false, nut others often have a lot of truth to them.
Many Indian immigrants are fairly entrepreneurial-- many have owned motels or 711s. And a very high percentage of computer programmers are in this country are Indian immigrants (or children of Indian immigrants).
This is partly due to the fact that there's a lot of poverty in India (although under Modi, their current Prime Minister, they've been making significant progress). So-- many Indians realize that by immigrating to America and studying and working hard, they can succeed. And one field that needs talented people is programming.

There's another reason as well why so many top programmers here are Indian. Not only are a lot of Indians entering the field-- but a lot of American kids are not entering the field.
This is not just about immigrants in general. Rather its about a particular story that I had meant to seed but didn't-- the murder of an Indian immigrant. The story gives some background to this seed, so I just seeded it-- here it is:

Please do not shoot
Should he be worried?

Thanks-- I will try to post image again.
I just uploaded image a different way, can you see it now (I can see it now on my computer).
P.S: There's a background story to this that wasn't seeded here. I will google it and seed the story.
