The West - A Journey through the Eight-Part Documentary Series

I was bored the other evening and ran across this series about the West. Very interesting and although a lot of it I already knew there is still enough that I didn't. For instance, I learned that Cali means "gold" and fornia means "don't you want some". That's where California came from. At least that's what the documentary claims.

I enjoyed the book and mini-series, Centennial, many years ago, so I would probably like this...
