We will no longer be told how many Troops trump is sending to Syria and Iraq

The LA Times is reporting that trump administration will no longer disclosing when or how many Troops they are sending to Iraq or Syria

www.latimes.com/…

“In order to maintain tactical surprise, ensure operational security and force protection, the coalition will not routinely announce or confirm information about the capabilities, force numbers, locations, or movement of forces in or out of Iraq and Syria,” said Eric Pahon, a Pentagon spokesman.

trump and the element of surprise are now the way things work with our Military movements.

That move deprives the public of information it has a right to know about the wars in which the U.S. is engaging, said Ned Price, National Security Council spokesman under Obama.

Gen Joseph votel admitted in a congressional hearing that even more US Troops were likely headed that way.

Didn’t trump run on keeping us out of the Middle East. He wouldn’t have lied would he….the orange shitgibbon now wants to play war with his toys….not that he would realize those toys are actually human beings.

I can only say this, if trump thought that protesters were a bunch of paid George Soros agitators, well, George is going to spend well over a trillion dollars if we end up escalating our actions in the Middle East.

A bunch of psychotic white alpha males inhabit the White house, what could go wrong.

Generally speaking, knowing troop deployment information is probably more of a benefit to the enemy than to the American public. However, in discussing Syria and Iraq, it makes a difference where troops are deployed. We are in Iraq with the permission of the Iraqi government. Sending troops into Syria without the permission of the Syrian government is a violation of international law and, with a Russian presence inside the country, runs the risk of sparking an international incident. Plus, Syria is extremely complicated because the Kurds, Iranians, Hezbollah, Turks, and various fighters are all present with competing interests. With an ignoramus in charge of our military, and with a congress that has stupidly eroded sovereign immunity against lawsuits, it's important to know when we're headed for a quagmire not just told after we're knee deep in it.
