The VOICE FINALE: Uplifting or One Big Drag?

The Voice! Finale was fierce from the top seconds of opening! Entertainment was smoking and that was while main man Billy Idol flamed the stage with 80's mega-hit White Wedding! Brooke Simpson delivered  planet-size performance sets each time she took the microphone. Chloe Kohankski ranked estrella-status achieving a mountaintop The Voice! -win. The win took my breath away! What a victory! Chloe K., you-dark-horse-you!

Then, this happened. A very real SHOWSTOPPER and FIRST for The Voice! 'Drag goes Mainstream!

So why is this premiering in the religion and ethics section of NewsTalkers? Because I think the Drag universe landed a big fish in appearing on The Voice! (in America). That "jarring" sound you make have heard Wednesday night and at water-coolers last Thursday may have been evangelical mouths turned inside out from the display of big, gorgeous "femmes" on a popular and major American television show!

Now take a good, long, look. Then, let's talk!

Nedra Belle (The Voice! Contestant Chris Weaver), Jan Sport, Lagoona Bloo, Rosé

OKAY! What happened here?

And, will anyone of you need an 'adjustment' visit?

Oh my! What happened to comment number 3?

The Voice sucked this season. Addison should have won, a Chloe the karaoke queen shouldn’t have even made it to the finals. —Hal A. Lujah.

I love a great many folks, especially Brooke Simpson. But, I abide the decisions of the public each year with grace. They were all singing so well. And, the public can not see the number spreads.

We have a male worship leader who performs drag shows and contested on The Voice!, then was offered an opportunity to elevate and expand his troupe on a venue broadcasting across many nations through satellite technology. I'm alright with this. You alright with it too?! Good!
