Teacher In Cash-Strapped Ohio School District Forced To Make Do With Centuries-Old Firearms
ATHENS, OH—Acknowledging that the Ohio school district’s threadbare budget prevented him from purchasing more up-to-date equipment, local math teacher Kurt Hyde confirmed Tuesday that he was forced to make do with centuries-old firearms. “The students here really deserve better than a bunch of muzzle-loaded long guns that haven’t been relevant since the early 1800s,” said Hyde, expressing frustration that the school expected him to get by with a couple rusted flintlock pistols and a single Charleville musket that barely worked anymore.
I can’t tell you what a pain in the ass it is to have to pour the black powder charge down the barrel, put the lead ball into the muzzle, and then . . .
I fully support his 2nd Amendment right to possess and use the type of firearms that were available at the time of the writing of the Bill of Rights and hope he the School Board is able to afford to buy him more matching flintlock pistols in the near future.
LOL!
Perfect, then you can start communicating in the usual manner of the 1700's as well. No more Newstalkers for you.
Get yourself a quill and ink and i'll await weeks for your response.
And lets not forget to arm our police and military in exactly the same way., since we are to be armed in exactly the same way that soldiers are armed so that we can take over for them if needed.
Get yourself a quill and ink and i'll await weeks for your response.
Considering the garbage some people post on here it works for me if they don't hear my response for weeks or all all.
Yep!
Well then, there's your solution.
Don't blog, don't post ....... only parchment, quill and ink for you from now on ..... man, you are going to have a blast.
Oh, and, while you're at it, don't forget to use that quill and parchment to learn to write in Russian or Chinese, since they don't seem to be going along with that program.
The budget for the Air Force and Navy should be really low since all they'll get are Montgolfier balloons and sailing ships.
There were rumors last year that we were finally going to get a gatling gun, but it ended up going to some wealthy school district in Columbus.”
Well it may be a step up, some of the districts utilizing outdated textbooks are issuing clubs and maces.
Good more spending isn't the answer. Get back to the three R's and cut the underwater basket weaving classes. I doubt most eight graders could pass this test these days.
