The Trump Magic Show: The Tricks Are Just Too Obvious

When you are a genius at diverting people from what is right in front of your eyes, you are generally called a magician. When you are a genius at lifting wallets from unsuspecting victims, you are generally called a pickpocket. When you are a genius at talking people out of their hard earned money, you are generally called a con artist. When you are a genius at making people believe just the opposite of what sits in front of them, you are generally called Donald Trump.

There is becoming less and less doubt that Trump is a magician, a pickpocket, a con artist, and a thief. It also has become clear that this man has gotten away with these actions for so long that he has decided to become increasingly brazen in his continuing effort to obstruct justice. The last month has been amazing....a political Kreskin on steroids. A man with a built in fanbase of 35% of the electorate who would believe the magic even when they are shown the hook.

But let's look at this phenomenon of lying, or obfuscation if you will.

Starting with the meeting with Putin in Helsinki, the President failed, as he has on numerous occasions prior, to share with the American people the general topics that the two world leaders discussed. What emanated was the continued bromance between Trump and this nation's most serious enemy. But the switch came quickly. Exit Russia, enter Trump and Kavanaugh. The President rolls out the next nominated Supreme Court Justice. What is that justice's claim to fame? He believes that the President is exempt from indictment or action for criminal activity while he is in office. Amazing, since this Mueller investigation in tightening the vise around Trump's somewhat corpulent body. Trump knows that aspects of the criminal investigations involving Trump will somehow wind up in the Supreme Court. It doesn't hurt to have a judicial lackey on the court. There are legal scholars who see this nomination  as an open obstruction of justice.

But just as the nation began to question this nomination, the administration did a quick Texas two-step. The new target was the press. Now the press has been a favorite target for Trump before, but he decided to ratchet up the deflection. His new pattern at his adoration rallies is as much an attack on the news media as a affirmation of the politician he is there to tout.

But, we must say, the "fake news" meme works with the Trumpian robots. These people are buying the sleight of hand that Trump is pulling as if there is a truth behind the ludicrous perception of the world that the Trump administration tries to sell every day. But the majority of Americans aren't buying what Trump is selling. Affter the fake news meme, Trump took credit for a congressional victory in Ohio {that, by the way, is still so close that no winner has been declared}. Amazing, since Trump won this district by 11 and now, because of him it is even. The same can be said for every other district that Trump won. There is a 10 to 15% swing against the President. He has, however, tried his best to use the smoke and mirrors to obfuscate the truth.

Then came Omarosa and her new book; another attack from his flank. Again switch the topic.....call her a "dog" and other derogatory speech. But, oops, she had tapes to back up what she was saying. Now a new magic trick was necessary.  It took the administration no time at all to come up with the next little magic trick. Take away the security clearances of those who you perceive as your enemies. Retaliate and even acknowledge. Is it illegal? Well the question is criminal intent. What is happening is that this administration is blatently developing an enemies list. It would seem that the President's own dialogue is both an abuse of power and an obstruction of justice.

The magic show seems to be just starting. The tricks could get bigger and bigger. At this rate, we are leading up to a grand finale. How do we make Trump disappear? It will be congress and the American people who say the magic words "Presto, Change-O, You're Fired".

You can fool some of the people all of the time. You can fool all of the people some of the time. But you can't fool all of the people all of the time. It is a famous quote from, I believe, the master showman, P.T. Barnum. Trump thinks he can fool every one all of time......not happening

You can fool some of the people all of the time.

That's being proven daily as the Trump followers remain steadfastly fooled.

Unfortunately, that and the saying "there's a sucker born every minute" seem to be the mantra of the Trump diehards.

Trump only thinks he can fool enough people to retain power, that's all he wants.  Frighteningly, he's very close to being able to.

Yep, it sure does. Same way that Alex Jones ropes people in... He sprinkles it with tripe that he knows his base loves. One thing that I think we all know by now is that anything trump claims is fake news is one of a few things..

1) 100% true.

2) Makes donny look bad, or damages his precious ego.

3) Something that he knows is BS, but also knows that his base will totally believe.

.

Trump lies over 80% of the time. He literally lies more than any politician in history....by MILES. It's not even close. Think about this for a second....

The FBI was never considered to be corrupt, until donny found out he was under investigation....nearly two years later? The FBI is hated by the right, the same folks who are staunch defenders of law enforcement, now hate the largest law enforcement agency in the country. The FBI is no more corrupt now than they were 2 years ago, but trump has his followers totally believing that the FBI, is totally corrupt....because trumptard says so. That's fucking sad. CNN? Trump liked them fine until they started to call him out, quite vocally for lying, now all the sudden? They are fake news, (but no one can seem to point out any stories they have pushed that are fake). Can anyone come up with even one instance where trump said something was fake news and it actually WAS fake news? Nope.

THAT list goes on, and on...and on... Now we have trump revoking security clearances of patriots because they exercised their first amendment rights, "I am revoking his clearance because he said things I didn't like". Oh yes, and it's only democrats that he is looking at. Weird huh? Brennan? Revoked. Flynn, a confessed felon...still has his clearance.

Trump is a petulant child, he is spoiled and rich. He has never had to answer to anyone because he has been a rich asshole all of his life. Well, newsflash... He WILL answer to the American people if he is found guilty. He is not above the law no matter how much he and his base thinks he is.

Trumps entire campaign was based on the "Goebbles Rule".

"Always blame your enemy of that which you are most guilty."

In the interests of brevity, one example...

"Crooked Hillary!!!"

How many times has Hillary been sued for fraud? 0. Not once.

How many times has trump been sued for fraud? 3,200+ times.

I'm sorry, who is the crooked one here?

Thanks.

The FBI has always been corrupt. J Edgar Hoover’s abuse of power is well documented and was hidden until his death. Do some research on his abuse and corruption it is a real eye opener as to how corrupt the FBI has always been.
