A prominent cybersecurity lawyer on Friday pleaded not guilty to making a false statement to the FBI in a charge stemming from a probe of the U.S. government's investigation into Russian election interference.

Michael Sussman appeared Friday in D.C. federal court before Magistrate Judge Zia Faruqui. He is just the second person to be prosecuted by special counsel John Durham in two-and-a-half years of work.

The indictment accuses Sussmann of lying to the FBI when he was questioned about a September 2016 conversation he had with the FBI's general counsel, when he relayed concerns from cybersecurity researchers about potentially suspicious contacts between Russia-based Alfa Bank and a Trump Organization server.

No case brought by Durham so far undoes the core finding of an earlier investigation by Robert Mueller that Russia had interfered in sweeping fashion on behalf of Donald Trump's 2016 presidential campaign and that the Trump campaign welcomed that aid.

Durham's one indictment is already falling apart because starting in 2014 and continuing right up to election day 2016 Trump was in secret negotiations with the damn Russians to build a Trump Tower in Moscow right up until election day in 2016. He even offered Putin the bribe is a penthouse apartment...

So, of course the FBI and CIA had to investigate him.

Do you just shoehorn the same talking point over and over into anything that contains the word Russia?

if you think the trump tower negotiations have any relationship to this indictment you are completely lost.  Have you bothered to actually read the indictment?

No, it is you doesn't or just won't get it. The origins of the FBI and CIA Trump Russia Investigations were based on Trump and his people seeking out and communicating with known agents of the Russian Intelligence Services going back long before 2016. Trump was being investigated by all western intelligence services because he was seeking out Russian operatives. That's the way it works. As long as you kerp refusing to acknowledge these facts I am going to keep clobbering you guys over your thick heads with it!

So you didn't read the indictment. I assume you have some familiarity with our legal system though. So try and understand that the indictment of Clinton's lawyer for lying to the FBI has nothing to do with "the origins" of the Russia  investigation.   You are simply deflecting from the actual allegations against Sussman, either out of malice or ignorance is something only you know.

Good.  Now we shall see if the be-speckled, balding, coiffurred bearded autocratic lawyer, Durham has anything to show for his to many years stint on the taxpayers dime.  He has nothing except the power to smear, lie and ultimately protect the Dweller at Mar-a-Lago.

Carter Page was out selling insider information on Trump and his campaign to known agents of the Russian Intelligence Services under the guise of being a consultant. He would be a convicted traitor except the law gives a pass to mental midgets who are incapable of understanding what harm they do!

Were our own Intelligence agencies supposed to not know or to look the other way when Trump and Company had all their secret crooked low down dealings with known clandestine operatives of Putin's Russian Intelligence Services?
