The democrat's enormous crime problem
Democrat politicians defunded police, raised money for rioters, and pushed policies that are soft on crime. They own this crime wave.

Democrats have just realized that they have another major political problem. Crime has risen dramatically throughout the nation and the American public rightly blames democrats. It was not hard to understand for the rest of us, but defunding Police departments, eliminating bail and not enforcing laws leads to increased crime. A ten year old would know it, but democrat elites only seem to get it when they see polls that show they are going to be on the losing end of elections.

One progressive mayor did a complete 180 degree turn. That would be the radical mayor of what was once the majestic city of San Francisco. Listen to these words from someone who was elected to be the mayor of an American city:

San Francisco Mayor London Breed lamented “all the bullshit that has destroyed our city,” including thefts at high-end stores like Louis Vuitton rampant vehicle break-ins and a seeming flood of the potent drug fentanyl" “We are not a city where anything goes,” a shaken Breed said. “Our compassion should not be mistaken for weakness or indifference,” she added, in reference to the California city’s famous culture of tolerance. (Liberal tolerance for law breaking and defecation in the streets)

Get this: In calling for a new get tough law enforcement strategy she added: “I might make a lot of people uncomfortable.” “And I don’t care,” “At the end of the day, the safety of the people of San Francisco is the most important thing to me.”   Wow! spoken like a liberal who just got mugged!

Breed is also seeking to strip the school board that was once focused on renaming schools of it's power.  “The school board has often focused on the wrong thing at the expense of the big picture.”

In the meantime, the SF DA Chesa Boudin finds himself with 80,000 people signing a petition to recall him. Only 50,000 signatures were required to set up a recall election next summer.

Nancy Pelosi says she doesn't understand where the lawlessness came from?

s5cbifUL?format=jpg&name=small

PELOSI: “There is an attitude of lawlessness in our country that springs from I don’t know where! Maybe you do?!”

Obviously she doesn't live in the real world of middle America. (she was probably too busy trying to impeach Donald Trump.) She was AOL in 2020 when extremist groups such as BLM sprang into action after George Floyd died to help coordinate more than 10,330 demonstrations across the country in 2,730 locations in all 50 states. The scenes that came out of those riots were horrific, although the media did their best to downplay the carnage. At least 25 Americans were killed in the riots which destroyed hundreds of businesses and cost over $2 Billion in damage. Democrat mayors bonded with the rioters and had their police departments stand down. Our current VP started a fund to free the rioters from jail should they be arrested, though few were. BLM and "the squad" demanded that local Police departments be defunded. As that took place, George Soros funded prosecutors in places like Philadelphia and Los Angeles refused to prosecute criminals. That is the pedigree to the crime wave we now face.

And as the San Francisco mayor put it yesterday " It's time for it to come to an end!"

You know that lawlessness is in our immediate future whenever you hear a DA utter the progressive buzz words "social justice."

More than 20 major cities have reduced police budgets in some form, and activists are fighting to ensure that is only the start

Prove it! AGAIN!

And that makes about as much sense as ceasing vaccinating people because the infection rate may be dropping. Same scenario. Thing are getting better so relax and then "OH SHIT wait a minute" as they go back up.

Think FFS

Reducing budgets doesn't mean defunding police.

The only reason they MAY have peaked under Trump (you wanna provide a link to that or is that what was on your toilet paper this morning after your first "cup of coffee break") were those "peaceful" bonfires set across the nation with BLM at the helm.

ime rates are declining after peaking under Trump.

That's a perfect example of why Republicans are surging and Biden is flailing.   It's the Lori Lighhtfoot/Baghdad Bob approach to politics. Sure murders are way up, but since we stopped enforcing other  laws, crime is down!

Please, by all means, "make crime is down" your central claim in 2022.  Republicans might pick up 80 seats.

Imagine thinking anyone would believe that as they see city after city report murder records.
