Are You A Fascist? 12 Signs To Look For
Do you think you're just a quiet, patriotic conservative with good old-fashioned family values? Oh no! You may be a dangerous fascist!

S E E D E D   C O N T E N T

Do you think you're just a quiet, patriotic conservative with good old-fashioned family values? Oh no! You may be a dangerous fascist!

Study this list of fascist tendencies so you can do better and be less fascist!

  1. You've been to a 4th of July parade at least once in your life: All that flag-waving is a classic mark of fascism. You're supposed to love the leaders and corporations that the corporate media tells you to love, not your homeland, ya' Mussolini!
  2. You voted for Trump: this one's too easy. His election was not just a threat to our democracy, but a threat to all democracy - and maybe to the universe itself. Do better!
  3. You have more than one kid and you love being a parent: Dedication to the family is a distraction from service to the state. Just abort, you fascist - don't you want to be liberated?
  4. You didn't let your teenager go to that sleepover when LITERALLY EVERYONE else got to go: Ugh, so fascist!
  5. You use fascist dog-whistles like "Merry Christmas", "see you at church on Sunday", and "I don't really like Amazon's Rings Of Power": Just come out and say you're literally Hitler.
  6. You want people to make their own decisions about their kids' education and what things they inject in their bodies and crazy stuff like that: This is hard-line Nazism - individual responsibility instead of state control. Terrifying.
  7. You wear a tiny mustache and goose-step everywhere: honestly, you should probably get yourself checked for fascism if you have any kind of mustache…
  8. You give a speech flanked by marines in front of an ominous red background, accusing your political opponents of being enemies of the state: Wait a minute, is this list taking a turn?
  9. You use federal law enforcement to intimidate and attack political opponents: Only a dictator like Trump would do this!
  10. You use the media as a puppet to spread great propaganda: For example: "The Afghanistan withdrawal was the greatest military accomplishment since the Berlin airlift."
  11. You dehumanize the other party to the point that your followers are literally trying to mow them down in the street: Trump again! Obviously.
  12. Your name is Joseph R Biden Jr and you're 78 years old and you are currently president of the United States: If this is you, stop being a fascist - or just silence anyone who says you are!

And there you have it - know the signs of fascism and you won't be blindsided!

Study this list of fascist tendencies so you can do better and be less fascist!

1. You attended the January 6th rally and violently attacked the capital and capital police in an attempt to overturn a free and fair election because your Dear Leader told you to.

2. You continually defend and deflect for those who attended the January 6th rally and violently attacked the capital and capital police in an attempt to overturn a free and fair election because their Dear Leader told them to.

3. You claim to support families but refuse to support any family that doesn't look like or pray like yours and support laws that deny other Americans the right to marry or adopt based on your indoctrinated religious beliefs.

4. You claim you're a victim anytime someone wishes you a "Happy Holiday" claiming its a war on Christmas and/or Christians.

5. You're desperately trying to challenge public education that dares teach that your white conservative Christian ancestors owned slaves, supported segregation, Jim Crow laws and lynching while continuing to benefit from the long term inequity in society and the justice system.

6. You only listen to rightwing media and believe all other forms of media should be forced to distribute rightwing conservative views and values.

7. You continue to support a lying populist wannabe authoritarian leader who attempted to use his followers to stop the certification of a national election and install himself as leader.

8. You exalt a specific race, state and/or religion above individual rights and support stripping women of their privacy and bodily autonomy.

9. You defend those who exalt a specific race, state and/or religion above individual rights and pretend that the vocal open racial supremacists and admitted fascists among you either don't exist or exist only in small numbers.

10. You invite openly fascist foreign leaders to speak at your political rallies and conferences and voice your support for them when they gain control of foreign nations.

Study this list of fascist tendencies so you can do better and be less fascist!

1. You insist Jan 6th was an insurrection. Despite all evidence. No firearms. No targets taken, and no buildings secured. No organization. Those involved left when they got bored and went to happy hour. The only person that was killed was a Jan 6th rioter by a Barney Fife with a gun. At the same time supported the Summer of Love; and the DOJ and FBI not going after those rioters.

2. You support the Jan 6th committee as bipartisan; even though Republicans didn't seat anyone on the committee. You still think Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger are Republicans.

3. You attack all religions except Islam; and demand people "Keep their religion out of politics!". And believe the only religion should be a strong federal government!

4. You foam at the mouth and scream obscenities any time someone wishes you "Merry Christmas". The site of any religious nativity scene on public land is enough for you to join Satanists and demand equal representation for a Beelzebub statue.

5. You desperately defend a public education that is failing to educate anyone in reading, writing, arithmetic, and history. You unquestionably support teachers unions and their quest to teach CRT (which isn't history); correct pronoun usage; sexual orientation affirmation; and any other progressive doctrine that will come down the pike. Parents should have no say where there children can go to school; or what type of education they will receive. Public schools are failing due to lack of money- not bad administration or teaching- we need to throw more money at it; even though we are #1 spending in on education in the world.

6. You only listen to MSM or leftist media; and believe the FCC should be allowed to regulate and shut down all right wing media. You still believe in Russian Collusion hoax- because the media said so.

7. You continue to support a senile old man that refuses to enforce US borders and immigration laws. Who doesn't tell lies; but Joeisms every day according to the media. Who openly defies court rulings on Stay in Mexico and Renter's Moratoriums. Who bypassed Congress and the "power of the purse" to illegally give certain college student debtors $10000 of debt forgiveness. Whose administration has to walk back his comments on Russia, China, and Covid repeatedly. That redefines words like "recession"; because they don't like what they mean. Who attacked his political opponents on a nationally televised speech flanked by two marines bathed in a dark red light.

8. You exalt the federal government above all else. Using the IRS, FBI, and DOJ to attack political opponents is OK. They aren't Democrats. So they have to be guilty of something!

9. You use race, sex, and religion as a reason to attack those that don't believe as you (They simply aren't woke enough). You believe in reparations; CRT; systemic racism; and abortion on demand until birth. Hell, why stop there- abortion after birth!

10. You openly support a President that courts Russia, Iran, Saudi Arabia, and Venezuela for oil and gas because he destroyed access to US domestic resources. That openly welcomes migrants from abusive South American Communist regimes; but returns Haitian and Cuban migrants to their abusive regimes because they tend to vote for Republicans.

11. You are reading this list and getting ready to forward it to the FBI so they can launch an investigation to find another person who wasn't at Jan 6th; but you feel shares too many of the same views as the rioters.

1. You insist Jan 6th was an insurrection. Despite all evidence

There is plenty of evidence, some whiny conservatives are apparently just too chicken shit to watch it or admit it.

2. You still think Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger are Republicans.

Yes, because they are. Just because they refused to drink dirty Donald's cool aid and turn into a Trumpublican doesn't mean they abandoned being a real Republican.

3. You attack all religions except Islam

Bull shit. I am as against Islam or any other religion being pushed on public schools as I am against Christianity. While I often use the blatant hypocrisy shown by Christians who have no problem pushing their religion into public spaces while denying Muslims the same right, I am not suggesting I want Islam pushed the same as Christianity, I want neither in our public schools, courthouses, public spaces and government.

4. You foam at the mouth and scream obscenities any time someone wishes you "Merry Christmas".

More complete horse shit. The annual cryfest only comes from right wing conservative butt hurt over getting "Happy Holidays" in response to their "Merry Christmas". Please feel free to try and dig up some actual evidence of any liberals or progressives "foaming at the mouth screaming obscenities" as someone who wished them Merry Christmas. It would no doubt be on 24/7 loop on Fox News if it were true.

5. You desperately defend a public education that is failing to educate anyone in reading, writing, arithmetic, and history.

It is certainly a challenge to teach kids, especially when there are millions of conservative parents teaching their kids not to trust public education, not to trust science, not to trust the evidence of evolution, the age of the earth or that the civil war was fought over slavery. It's no doubt very difficult to teach truth to kids when their heads are being jammed full of deplorable lies and religious conservative ideology at home day in and day out.

6. You only listen to MSM or leftist media; and believe the FCC should be allowed to regulate and shut down all right wing media. You still believe in Russian Collusion hoax- because the media said so.

Bullshit. I mainly watch PBS News hour, BBC News and often watch a smatter of Fox and MSNBC to get the often hilarious extreme takes on either side of any debates and stories.

As for believing in a Russian collusion hoax, there was no hoax, and you'd know that if you bothered to listen to or read the conclusions from the Republican Senate led investigation which found there was more than enough cause to investigate the Trump campaign and that they found dozens of connections between Russian agents and campaign staff and even that the Trump campaign manager “represented a grave counterintelligence threat”. It's not any 'media' telling me so, it was your own fucking parties investigation that made it clear the investigation was warranted.

7. You continue to support a senile old man that refuses to enforce US borders and immigration laws.

I do believe the immigration laws need to be fixed and that the current administration isn't treating it as a first priority, but the actions of Republicans screaming at the sky over hundreds of thousands of asylum seekers is way overblown as well. We need strong borders as well as an efficient humane process for immigration applicants and asylum seekers, not simply a total shut down of the border.

8. You exalt the federal government above all else. Using the IRS, FBI, and DOJ to attack political opponents is OK. They aren't Democrats. So they have to be guilty of something!

Of course the facts are that the IRS under Bush appointed Claire Lerner was "targeting" 501 c3's from both conservative and liberal groups. The whole false narrative that Obama was using the IRS to go after conservatives is complete bullshit. Same with the dumb fuck belief that the FBI and DOJ are somehow being run or controlled by some secret liberal 'deep state' to attack Democrats opponents is beyond laughable, its rubber room insanity.

9. You use race, sex, and religion as a reason to attack those that don't believe as you (They simply aren't woke enough). You believe in reparations; CRT; systemic racism; and abortion on demand until birth. Hell, why stop there- abortion after birth!

Just more projected horse shit. I don't believe in reparations, CRT isn't a belief system, it's simply the examination of how our society has racially interacted and the consequences of that interaction over the last several hundred years. Trying to claim now that our long history of racial turmoil and white supremacy in this nation didn't and doesn't effect society today is just another 'white lie' fantasy dumb shits tell themselves so they don't have to feel guilty or change their behavior and status quo. As for abortion, why the fuck should you or anyone else get to tell a woman or her doctor what she can or can't do with her own body. Don't want an abortion, don't get an abortion.

There is plenty of evidence

There is more evidence against it, though.

It's no doubt very difficult to teach truth

The irony of that whole situation is that the very best way to get rid of CRT is actually to embed it in our public education system.  If they teach it as well as they teach math, it will be gone completely before we know it.

There is more evidence against it, though.

Insurrection: noun - a violent uprising against an authority or government:

I see nothing in the definition of an insurrection that says guns must be involved. The footage of rightwing conservatives beating capital police, breaking down barriers, doors and windows, threatening violence by chanting "Hang Mike Pence!", seeking out, with zip ties in hand, elected members of congress clearly prove "violent uprising against our government". To claim there is 'more evidence against' it being an attempted insurrection loses any credibility when you watch the footage of that day. Just because it failed does not excuse what those persons were there to do and who they thought they were doing it for and the outcome they were attempting to achieve.

If they teach it as well as they teach math, it will be gone completely before we know it.

I think if we all agreed to support schools, support STEM focused educations and careers, embraced the truths we're finding out about our universe, the age of it, the age of the earth, climate change and the evolutionary process from which we came to be, many more children would have no problem with math or many other higher education subjects. It's the intentional dismissiveness coming from rightwing conservatives towards education, higher education and our schools, universities and professors that has led to our current poor math, engineering and sciences outcomes.

Calling a leftist a 'fascist' is like calling a teetotaler a drunkard.

Fascism: noun - an authoritarian and nationalistic right-wing system of government and social organization.

Rightwing: noun - the section of a political party or system that advocates for free enterprise and private ownership, and typically favors socially traditional ideas; the conservative group or section.

Leftwing: noun - the section of a political party or system that advocates for greater social and economic equality, and typically favors socially liberal ideas; the liberal or progressive group or section.

Insurrection: noun - a violent uprising against an authority or government:

Then technically you can classify any riot as an insurrection.

"Insurrection" is merely a term Democrats have invoked because it reinforces anti-Trump hysteria, which is politically beneficial for them.

I think if we all agreed to support schools, support STEM focused educations and careers, embraced the truths we're finding out about our universe, the age of it, the age of the earth, climate change and the evolutionary process from which we came to be, many more children would have no problem with math or many other higher education subjects. I think there is more to it than just changing our feelings and behaving like good liberals.

At some point, standards must be raised.... and here's the non-liberal part... and also enforced.  Excuses must be stopped.  Teachers and administrators must be held accountable, disruptive kids expelled, curriculum modernized and streamlined, and technology implemented before it's so outdated as to be pointless.

We will need to accept that derivatives are not oppressive, there are no genders on a sine wave, and black kids can learn binomial distribution just as well as Asian kids.

We have to be willing to do the painful work of telling kids their work is not good enough rather than attempting to manipulate their self-esteem, rubber stamping their diploma, and letting them find from somebody else that they don't actually know anything.

You and I both know that isn't going to happen.

From Merriam Webster....

Definition of   fascism 1 often capitalized   a political philosophy, movement, or regime (such as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized  autocratic  government headed by a  dictatorial  leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition
2 : a tendency toward or actual exercise of strong autocratic or dictatorial control
So leftists can definitely be fascists.

Then technically you can classify any riot as an insurrection.

If a riot is attempting to overthrow the "authority or government" then yes, but a riot that is pushing back against police brutality is not an insurrection. A small number (about 7%) of the peaceful protests turned into riots during the 2020 protests after the George Floyd incident. None of them were an attempt to overthrow the federal, State or even local governments to install their own leader. Therefore none of them can be considered an "insurrection". January 6th was different, it was a direct attempt by thousands of violent extremists attempting to overturn federal election results to install the loser into power contrary to the constitution.

However, those who did turn peaceful protests into violent riots where there was vandalism, violence and looting should be arrested and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Sadly those dipshit extremists, whether left or right, at 7% of the protests gave rightwing conservatives an excuse to completely dismiss anything and everything the 93% of peaceful protests were attempting to accomplish. The vast majority of those on the left have as much reason, if not more, to despise those rioters and looters as those on the right do.

We have to be willing to do the painful work of telling kids their work is not good enough rather than attempting to manipulate their self-esteem, rubber stamping their diploma, and letting them find from somebody else that they don't actually know anything.

I would agree that our public schools need a lot of work and we need to reform the teachers unions and raise standards. So lets focus on that instead of just showing up at school district meetings screaming about supposed CRT, attempting to ban books or whining about societies general acceptance of lgtbq Americans and their kids in public schools.

You and I both know that isn't going to happen.

Not in our current political climate. With the current tribal-extremism nothing will get done and we will simply continue to fail at both public school and immigration reform, compromise is no longer really an option since the base of both sides is now too invested in their own partisan narrative that they cannot accept anything their opponents claim regardless of how much evidence is presented to support it.

but a riot that is pushing back against police brutality is not an insurrection.

Of course it is.  Police are a primary physical manifestation of government.

A small number (about 7%)

That's a fucking gargantuan number.  Absolutely anything else that broke into violence 7% of the time would be outlawed instantly.  That's one in every 14.  Imagine if 1 NFL game per week ended up in a riot.  Shit would be shut down before you could say Tom Brady.

None of them were an attempt to overthrow the federal, State or even local governments to install their own leader.

You're not familiar with CHAZ, then?

Agree again, with the admittedly pedantic rejection of the use of the word "ban".

That aside, you are absolutely correct that there are absolute morons on the right, and they're causing their share of problems.

Not in our current political climate.

I like the use of the word "current".  I like to think this is a temporary growing pain situation that will ease a bit as Millenials mature into full adult participation in society.   I may be naive about that, but I'm clinging to it just the same.

Bullshit. If that were the case anytime someone resisted arrest that would be considered 'insurrection'. Were any of the 2020 riots attempting to overthrow the local government and install the rioter's chosen leader in power? No. Then by definition they were not insurrectionists.

Imagine if 1 NFL game per week ended up in a riot.  Shit would be shut down before you could say Tom Brady.

Total fantasy. The NFL would not be shut down simply because 1 in 14 NFL games fans began to riot when they lost. There would simply be an increase in security as well as crackdowns and arrests at stadiums for those caught on camera assaulting others or vandalizing the stadium.

You're not familiar with CHAZ, then?

CHOP aka CHAZ:

The zone was a self-organized space, without official leadership . Protesters asserted three main demands:

  1. Cut Seattle's $409-million police budget by 50%.
  2. Shift funding to community programs and services in historically black communities.
  3. Ensure that protesters would not be charged with crimes

Capitol Hill Occupied Protest - Wikipedia

I see no demands from them to overthrow local government and install their own leaders. Also, if any of them committed assault, vandalism or looting they should be arrested and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. But they're still not insurrectionists.

you are absolutely correct that there are absolute morons on the right, and they're causing their share of problems

At least someone is willing to admit that. And I fully admit there are some real dip shit idiot losers out on the left fringe as well that are likely giving the left 90% of their bad press.

I like to think this is a temporary growing pain situation that will ease a bit as Millenials mature into full adult participation in society.

Millennials will eventually mature and change over time, whether that will be a good thing or bad is still to be determined. I do share some of your naive hope that this is just a phase, but I haven't seen this much bitter hate and resentment between two groups since watching some of the race riots and counter-civil rights marches back in the 1960's. Back then, being racist was common but collectively the majority viewed it as a bad thing and tried to change society.

Today we have a reemergence of those same racist fuck wads being given cover and shelter by rightwing conservatives who they have flocked to and are attempting to claim 'reverse racism' against whites who they feel have been blamed long enough for the reality of systemic racial inequality and inequity.

They want to pretend as if it doesn't even exist anymore so they can't be blamed for something that doesn't exist, even though they clearly continue to benefit from it. Because it's such an egregious fact that they don't know how to repay, turning a blind eye to it is far easier than accepting it and working towards change.

Here is an interesting racial experiment I saw recently dealing with the reality of long-term systemic racism. And notice those invited here aren't white male conservatives or Trump voters, as the hosts " see them as lost causes".

Deconstructing Karen , a new provocative documentary exposing white women’s role in  white supremacy , observes a group of white women as they attend a dinner party in Denver, Colorado, hosted by  Race2Dinner  co-founders Regina Jackson and Saira Rao. But the buffet of conversation planned to be served at the table is one the attendees aren’t fully prepared to swallow.

Jackson asked the women, “How many of you would trade places with a Black person in this society? Raise your hand.”

Stunned silence and awkward looks were their responses.

One attendee answered, “I don’t know the answer to that.”

Jackson replied, “Well, it’s yes or no. How many of you would do it?”

The woman attempted to defend herself by sharing her experience of dating a Hispanic man.

“I had a relationship with a dark skin Hispanic. For many years, I thought about having children with really dark skin.”

One guest stated, “I’m not saying there isn’t racism, I just don’t see it.” Another guest admitted that racism is real and knows that she doesn’t experience the same. To her, Jackson frankly quipped, “And you never will.”

Jackson added, they focus on liberal white women because they feel they can actually influence them. Those women, in turn, will likely go on to influence their own circles.

Total fantasy. The NFL would not be shut down simply because 1 in 14 NFL games fans began to riot when they lost. There would simply be an increase in security as well as crackdowns and arrests at stadiums for those caught on camera assaulting others or vandalizing the stadium.

When a dozen small businesses a week started going up in flames, they would totally shut down.

But extend the statistic to literally anything else.  Imagine if there was a fistfight in your office every 14 days.  Or a brawl every 14 weeks at church.  Absolutely nothing else in the world could be violent that often and be defended as "peaceful".  It's ridiculous.

It's the same kind of "math" RWNJs use when they talk about not getting vaccinated because Covid has a 98% survival rate.  If there was anything else in the world that killed somebody once every 50 times it happened, they'd shit themselves trying to avoid it.  Imagine if one airplane in 50 crashed.  Or if one car ride in every 50 killed somebody.  But because people misinterpret the numbers, they draw poor conclusions.

I see no demands from them to overthrow local government

Capitol.  Hill.  Autonomous.  Zone.  They literally declared independence and tried to organize their own collective.  That's an insurrection.

C'mon now, you can't defend outrageously egregious behavior just because it's your tribe and then try to complain about tribal extremism.

At least someone is willing to admit that. And I fully admit there are some real dip shit idiot losers out on the left fringe as well that are likely giving the left 90% of their bad press.

Fair enough.  Dipshit idiot losers are worth a lot of clicks and advertising revenue, so we undoubtedly see a disproportionate number from both sides.

whites who they feel have been blamed long enough for the reality of systemic racial inequality and inequity.

There is a lot to this.  People resent being blamed for stuff they have no control over.  And the average white dude has zero control over systemic racism or inequality.

They want to pretend as if it doesn't even exist anymore so they can't be blamed for something that doesn't exist, even though they clearly continue to benefit from it.  Because it's such an egregious fact that they don't know how to repay, turning a blind eye to it is far easier than accepting it and working towards change.

No, they just want you to stop blaming them for it.  They're just busting their asses trying to support their families and pay their bills.  They don't feel these supposed benefits you say they have.  And for all the bitching we hear from Team Blue State, none of them appear to have any realistic proposals on how to solve it either.

Here is an interesting racial experiment

I think it's fascinating they're finally zeroing in on women, because married white women drive most of the segregation decisions.  They decide what house to buy, which schools the kids attend, who the kids associate with, who the family socializes with, and where they go to church.

On a tangential note, the dominance of women in most households paired with the whole "topple the patriarchy" crusade undermines the racial discussion.  Telling a bunch of married men they sit atop a structure of oppression when they can't play golf without a woman's permission just completely obliterates any credibility on any social issue.  They don't know what world you're talking about, but it's definitely not the one they live in.

You want people to make their own decisions about their kids' education and what things they inject in their bodies and crazy stuff like that: This is hard-line Nazism - individual responsibility instead of state control. Terrifying.

One tiny note concerning this line item. Nazis did not like individuality. They liked sameness where everyone walked in line with every one else. Communists are the same way. The Nazis were all about state control.

So the next time you post something from the Buzzard Bee, make sure the facts are at least correct. Satire is based on truth.

What I have to laugh at is their insistence that every person gets to decide what their children are taught.

What nonsense.

Don't even get me started on the anti vac stance that is being presented.

Reading the essays above, I don't think I've laughed so much in years.
