Fallen Empire
"I really deeply wish that I had taken, like, a lot more responsibility for understanding what the details were of what was going on," Bankman-Fried said on "Good Morning America." "I should have been on top of this.

The
Senate Agriculture Committee met Thursday to understand what happened to the crypto currency exchange known as FTX and how Bitcoin could be regulated in the future. Meanwhile, the former head of FTX Sam Bankman-Fried was giving interviews. Chairwoman Debbie Stabenow lamented the "lack of clear, consistent rules." At Thursday's hearing there was only one witness: Commodity Futures Trading Commission chair Rostin Behnam.

Some of those at the hearing had received millions in campaign contributions from Sam Bankman-Fried. BTW Sam Bankman-Fried is the son of Barbara Fried, who who just resigned from the Democratic super PAC  Mind the Gap  as the board of directors chairperson. She is credited with getting as many as 3 million disinterested Black voters to vote. She wrote an essay in the Boston Review titled,  "Beyond Blame," which argued in favor of harm-reduction policies like rehabilitation over incarceration. In one of her sons many recent interviews, on "Good Morning America," he said that he feels "really, really bad"  for those affected by the collapse of his crypto exchange. He went on to say that  “I think I got a little cocky... I mean, more than a little bit.”  In what could best be described as carefully worded statements, Fried said that he never intended to commit fraud at the recent New York Times Deal Book Summit. Why Fried was at the New York Times Deal Book Summit is
anyone's guess. It appears the media is giving him a makeover  :  as a victim. His excuses are childlike. The question is will he be held accountable by those he benefited?

At least $1 billion in customer funds is still missing.

The Week:

Senate averts national rail strike:    "The Senate approved a new contract between railroad companies and labor unions on Thursday in a last-minute vote, ahead of a December 9 deadline that could trigger a nationwide railroad strike and severely hamstring the economy—but Senators rejected the unions’ demands for paid sick leave. The Senate voted 80-15 in favor of an agreement, which was brokered by the Biden Administration in September and includes a 24% raise through 2024."

Biden and Macron vow unity on Ukraine:  "Presidents Joe Biden and Emmanuel Macron vowed to maintain a united front against Russia on Thursday amid growing worries about waning support for Ukraine’s war effort in the U.S. and Europe. Biden also signaled he might be willing to tweak aspects of his signature climate legislation that have raised concerns with France and other European allies. Biden was honoring Macron with a grand   state dinner   Thursday evening — the first of the U.S. president’s COVID-19 shadowed presidency for a foreign leader. But following up on Biden’s upbeat comments might not go as smoothly as that fancy affair. Republicans who are about to take control of the House have shown less willingness than Biden to spend billions on Ukraine, and Democratic lawmakers said Thursday they were not about to jump back into the climate legislation."

What Have We Learned:

It seems that progressives keep confirming what we have already come to believe. When many of them look at cops they don't see the heroes that we do. Nope, many of them see  racists. Many of them don't seem to believe in free speech anymore. Many of them are outraged that Elon Musk took over their private safe space and has allowed all points of view, even criticism of himself. Then there is the way the leftist media is trying to turn Sam Bankman-Fried into a victim. Fried wasn't called as a witness by the Senate. Many there received donations from Fried. The House is also expected to take a look at this incredible case of fraud soon and they are likely to bring Fried to the US to testify. Let us never forget that Sam Bankman-Fried was the second biggest democrat donor, second only to George Soros.

As in 2020, we are still  dissecting the recent 2022 election to see what we can learn from it. One thing that I doubt many know is the fact that president Biden used taxpayer money via
Federal Work Study programs to pay college students to engage in voter registration campaigns for the benefit of Democrats.

How Joe Biden Used Taxpayer Money To Buy Young Voters In the Midterms | Conservative News Daily™

Those funds are supposed to be used to provide part-time campus jobs to help students with tuition costs. However, Biden's   acting assistant secretary for the Office of Postsecondary Education, Michelle Asha Cooper, said that universities may use work-study funds to pay students to “support voter registration activities.” Without even considering if it's legal, let us consider what most college students tend to be: brainwashed liberal democrats. When one looks at young voter participation in the 2022 midterms, it appears that this was yet another democrat scheme that worked very well.

On Wednesday Elon Musk reminded us all of something that anyone with a modicum of intelligence already knew:  that in the past, Twitter deliberately interfered in prior elections. We all remember the censoring of the Hunter Biden story and for that matter anything that negatively impacted Joe Biden. Musk will soon turn over the damning evidence.

It is day 682 of the most radical, egregious and incompetent administration in the history of the United States. The nation continues to struggle with inflation, lawlessness, an energy crisis and a wide open border. For now democrats have mainted much of their power via getting disinterested, party affiliated voters to the polls. The Governor of Georgia has demonstrated that Republicans need to excell at playing the same game. Let us all hope that the past election will be the last one in which the GOP depends totally on concerned citizens to turn out on election day.

Appeals Court rejects Biden's student loan forgiveness:

So how many times does this administration have to be told something is illegal before they catch on?

On Wednesday Elon Musk reminded us all of something that anyone with a modicum of intelligence already knew:  that in the past, Twitter deliberately interfered in prior elections.

And here the left tells us there was no interference.  How many saw through that bullshit from the start.  Maybe that's why Musk as become the Boogeyman to the left.  He's collapsing all their "safe spaces" and forcing them to deal with reality.

The love affair the media has with SBF continues unabated.  Amazing what type of coverage millions of Dollars to the Democratic Party and left wing media organizations will buy.

These days it's all about finding voters in the deep sleep and getting them to vote early.

If California’s Black population was the US average at 13% instead of 5%. The cost would approach $1.4 trillion.

I think this will be interesting to watch the downstream impact.  Will the people gain more freedom or will the CCP crack down harder to maintain their power?

"A man accused of killing a  California gas station  clerk during a "botched" robbery will not face a murder charge because the victim had opened fire on the suspect despite his life not being in danger, officials said Thursday.

James Williams, 36, was killed during an early Saturday morning gunfight with Ronald Jackson Jr., 20, at a Chevron in Antioch,  Fox San Francisco  reported.

The Antioch Police Department said a gas station employee called to report a person had been shot at the Extra Mile mini-mart just after 2 a.m. When officers arrived, they found a man with a gunshot wound to the head inside the store."

Twitter owner Elon Musk teased that "what really happened with the  Hunter Biden  story" and its suppression by the social media giant in 2020 would be revealed Friday afternoon.

"What really happened with the Hunter Biden story suppression by Twitter will be published on Twitter at 5pm ET!" he wrote, in a tweet that went viral immediately.

We are only minutes away

It won't matter.  No matter what the evidence shows, progressives won't care since the censorship  benefited them. Musk can have proof of Biden offering ambassadorships to Twitter employees to keep it silent and they will defend Biden.

The Russian government uses social media to generally help  Republicans in an election?  It's the worst thing in history and threatens democracy.

China  in 2022 does the same thing, only in favor of Democrats?  Crickets.

If Twitter censored a story to protect Trump it would already be out of business.
