Conservative media heroes?

Conservative media heroes?

Well here we have it folks. After all the talk about the left wing media, how they cannot be trusted, a montage from the right wing showing their stupidity.

Watch them go from actually denying and downplaying what this virus could do to actually saying they took it seriously all along.

What gets me the most is they have the nerve to point fingers at others.

Listen to themselves say the outbreak was nothing and will be nothing, to say it was under complete control, to saying they knew it was bad from the start.

The vast majority of medical first responders and hospital staff have trained for the inevitability of another viral pandemic from our first days of schooling. Likely, not enough considering present realities.

Glad to be a retired paramedic living out on the prairie and away from folk these days.

Thanks to anthropogenic global warming, an ever increasing global population and some really foolish, venal, backward thinking corporate politicians who know nothing of science and disease vectors, it was bound to happen again sooner or later.

It's not bad luck, just bad planning and a lack of forward thinking.

At least the planet is catching a break as anthropogenic greenhouse gasses have shown a slight reduction (staying at home will do that). It will, however, take about 50 years for that reduction to start to reduce the warming effect that is still slated to decimate the planet.

Only time will tell in which particular way our idiocies and greed will kill us.

This is me being positive and chipper.

They learned from their master crooked donnie, he lies and people believe him, so they lie and people believe them.

Ah, but dear lady, have you not heard of the "alternative facts?"   These guys are serious and they have cultivated a loyal 40% base.  The National Socialists barely cracked 30% and were able to eventually control every private and public facet in Germany by 1937.

Overlook? Hell they defend it.

I have seen the attacks Buzz. All donald has to do is say certain (pardon the name use) buzzwords and some see their marching orders.

Acting like the trump administration is pure while others are evil.

Ender is quite right.  The only thing about Trump that I had appreciated was the fact that he was more supportive of Israel than any POTUS has ever been.  Other than that, whatever he did had no effect on me nor did his shitty image concern me, but more recently, his bullying Trudeau on NAFTA to give up some Canadian advantages decreased the value of the Canadian dollar, and his trade war with China made necessities more expensive for me, both of which have cost me money, and now blocking 3M from sending masks to Canada endangers my daughter and friends in Canada, besides the fact that he is endangering the safety of Chinese Americans with his "China Virus" rhetoric, notwithstanding that the WHO had rightly asked that country names not be attached to epidemics for obvious reasons.  The fact that he is no JFK and has no dignity did not harm me, but his support for Israel has finally been totally outweighed by the harm he has done, and the insults and criticisms by right-wingers I've been receiving on the Front Page about China have pushed me away from right-leaning toward the left. However, as a Canadian, I have always been a supporter of a woman's choice for abortion, strict gun controls, universal single-payer health care, and banning capital punishment and I have always indicated that.

Not that it really matters, but the correct word is "Sinophobes". jrSmiley_2_smiley_image.png

Most would not be aware of what the prefix "Sino" or "Sina" means, so maybe I coined a new word.  Look for it in next year's Webster's.

Decided on a Chinese elective once in college. The semester consisted of a history of China that culminated in current political realities (from more than a few years back).

The young prof had lived off and on in China since he was a kid and was able to impart a reality of everyday life and the associated politics from the ground up.

Have been in the martial arts since my early teens and have studied with martial artists from many different countries, so have had a certain curiosity for early aspects martial.

Bruce Lee let me know that it was OK to study whatever I wanted from any country or discipline and incorporate it into my own personal "way".

R.I.P. Bruce Lee.

I have recommended that North American students should learn to read and speak Chinese.  There is no doubt, as its being the second biggest economy, that being able to do so will probably open doors and maybe lead to being able to earn a comfortable living.  Even after more than 13 years here, perhaps because I was too lazy to study it and English is considered the second language here so many signs and instructions are in English as well as Chinese and many people here can speak at least a little English I cannot read or understand most spoken Chinese and only know some everyday useful words and phrases.

The US kind of lags behind the rest of the world in that regard.

I always thought it should be mandatory. It is so much easier to learn a language at a young age.

Well those 'conservative media heroes' are nothing but overpaid shrills for the wealth class.

The real 'conservative hero' would have to be Rush Limbaugh who recently received The Medal of Freedom and had that medal placed around his neck by The First Lady, Melania Trump.

Exactly.  Rick Wilson wrote a book titled, "Everything Trump Touches, Dies."  This man's only mission is to defile everything, to bring it to a level even lower than his.

Trump is John Galt.  The liberator of personal freedom, religious liberty, and economic capitalism from the socialist statism of the deep state.

You just somehow managed to squeeze more platitudinous cliches into one sentence than..most normal people hear in a week.

Congratulations!

The only problem I'm having is ....who is leading whom? Does trmp hear it on Fox and then repeats it or does the White House send a talking paper every morning to Fox so they can spew the propoganda

I have been wondering the same thing!

I don't know for sure, but I think ignorantzrulz may be right (comment 4.1).

Its some kind of a scik feedback loop.

(BTW I don't remember the exact details...or for that matter the reliability..of  an article I read that Dear Leader speaks on the phone to Hannity every night...)

Did anyone notice how Hair Hitler refused to let Dr Fausi answer a question about the drug that might be used.  He knew that the doctor was not going to kiss his ass and instead put out the real information thereby contradicting the orange oompa loompa and there is no way he will let that happen.
