Marjorie Taylor Greene Claims They Can Control the Weather

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) weighed in on the deadly hurricane which wreaked havoc in her state of Georgia and across the southern United States on Thursday, suggesting that the hurricane had been controlled.
After the Hurricane Helene death toll rose to over 200, Greene wrote in a social media post, "Yes they can control the weather. It's ridiculous for anyone to lie and say it can't be done."

Greene also posted a map of the areas most affected by the hurricane overlaid with an electoral map by political party.
"This is a map of hurricane affected areas with an overlay of electoral map by political party shows how hurricane devastation could affect the election," she warned.
Following her election to Congress in 2020, Greene received criticism over previous comments she had made suggesting the wildfires in California had been started by space lasers connected to the wealthy Rothschild family.
Greene's remarks came to be known as the "Jewish Space Laser" remarks - despite the congresswoman never using those exact words - and Greene went on to capitalize on the controversy earlier this year when she filed an amendment to an Israel aid bill proposing that funds "be used for the development of space laser technology on the southwest border."

Its not possible to overstate this person's dishonesty and insanity. I wonder how many people who have voted for her approve of this crap.
Her implication is that red states are targeted by hurricanes manipulated by "they", presumably blue state, deep state, elitists. Almost all hurricanes that hit the US mainland hit red states, not because of a conspiracy, but because of geography. Hurricanes originate in warmer water usually east of the Carribean and twirl through a path that eventually reaches either the east coast of Florida or any or all of the states that comprise the Gulf Coast. This would be geographically the case if the United States didnt even exist. Its not the hurricanes fault, or even the "deep state's" that these regions are largely politically conservative and heavily MAGA.
Congress should expel MTG for uncurable stupidity and conspiracy mongering.

I think I'll blame evil conservatives for causing blizzards in Chicago, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, and Detroit.

Back in the mid-80's I had an SFC who was convinced the Russians could control the weather and direct it at the US. He even had us watch an old US Army propaganda video about it. The guy was nuttier than a fruitcake. Neither he, nor MTG have done the math.
If anyone could control the weather , i hope they send some moisture of any kind up north of me including the dreaded 4 letter word , "SNOW", havent checked this AM , but there is a major forest fire burning up there , last report was 42k acres in some very hard to get places , That last picture i posted where buzz said it showed how big and empty the area is , is gone , looks like a burnt out moonscape from what locals tell me , thus postponing a trip up there .
The left regularly claim that any weather event that is even slightly out of the ordinary is caused by climate change and can be controlled by the human intervention of reducing greenhouse gases. The ongoing warm and dry weather out West here being a good example.
