Colorado Mom Sues School Over "Genders & Sexualities Alliance" - The Maine Wire

Colorado mom Erin Lee has sued a public school for recruiting sixth-graders, including her daughter, into a secret after-school club focused on gender and sexuality.
Lee's lawsuit alleges that the club was deceptively advertised as an "art" club, according to a report from Fox News.
Lee's daughter was among the students who joined the club, where an external presenter discussed topics such as gender, sexuality, polyamory, and suicide.
The presenter also allegedly spoke about puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones, cautioning the children that their parents might not be "safe" people to confide in about their identity struggles.
The lawsuit against Wellington Middle School and Poudre School District, situated about 70 miles north of Denver, seeks accountability and transparency.
Former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi is representing Lee.
Per Fox News, the Poudre School District has confirmed the existence of the club and stated that discussions within the club "may be confidential," but declined to address Lee's specific allegations, citing the need to protect the privacy of the student and their family.

So a highly improbable scenario is getting high profile twatwaffle attention and... what? Interesting... can other parents sue if someone tries to recruit their children to a bible study group?

I didn't deflect. I expressed skepticism at the face value of the story and inquired on expanding the criteria of possible law suites. If the story is 100% true then someone should be sued and I won't lose a wink of sleep over it.
I work days helping seniors. I don't even turn away right wing populist snowflakes complaining about socialist marxist liberal commies hiding under their beds.
You tried ..... and failed. Hopefully you are better at taking care of those Seniors. Most of whom would likely agree with me.

First, why would anyone hide going to a bible study group?
Better still why would anyone misrepresent a bible study group as an art group?
Second, imagine the freak out from the left of any teachers or school administration with the temerity of recruiting for religion at any public school. Lawsuits would be the least of their problems.

Again, I don't know. Why would any group misrepresent itself as an art group? The whole story sounds fishy to me. In this political climate would anyone think they could get away with it? I'm skeptical. I'm not saying it didn't happen, I'm just skeptical and when Pam Bondi is involved my skeptisism goes to 11.

Hmmm. quite likely judging from various news articles and court cases ever.
This is just local to me here: A local youth pastor was jailed last year after preying on 2 young girls. It was his second time since he moved here from IL. Another local youth paster has been suspended (his father, the church leader has stepped down) on allegations of the sex with an underage girl while the investigation is pending. I've not heard of one local case of any LGBTQA+ person preying on any young people. I don't doubt if I looked I'd find one, but the numbers of pedophiles with a religious affiliation would massively dwarf any list of any other group.
We could go further afield and talk about the Tx Rep that was just forced to resign for getting underage staffers drunk and having sex with them. He's the same guy that said Tx needed to protect children from drag shows, but all he really seems to want is to keep those young girls for himself.
If you want I can wait for you to actual present evidence of all the LGBTQA+ predators and we can continue...
