Anti-Israel protesters swarm NYC cancer hospital, accusing 'complicity in genocide'
By: Yahoo News
Thousands of anti-Israel demonstrators protested in New York City on Monday night, with many of them targeting a nearby cancer hospital with accusations of "complicity in genocide."
Protesters could be seen shouting slogans on social media at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in Manhattan. They then moved on to accusing a nearby Starbucks and McDonald's of further "complicity" in genocide, the New York Post reported.
Police arrested three people during the demonstration, including a 16-year-old boy.
"Not a good look as pro-Palestinian protesters target a cancer hospital on New York's Upper East Side. The Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center also houses a pediatric day hospital," wrote Danny Morris, who works for an organization that tracks antisemitism.
Monday's protest was only the latest in a long series of demonstrations supporting either Palestinians or Israel. Tens of thousands of protesters clashed in Manhattan late last year as Israel began its retaliatory campaign against Hamas following a massacre that left 1,200 Israelis dead.
Protesters at Monday's event also targeted the Mt. Sinai Medical Center, accusing it of supporting "zionism," according to the Post.
"Mount Sinai you can't hide, you support genocide," the protesters chanted.
One Jewish woman, 74, who lives nearby the demonstration, reportedly had to be escorted through the chanting crowd while on a walk with her dog.
"I thought I was in Germany in 1939," she told the Post, declining to give her name. "I'm astounded. I think it's horrific."
New York City has seen waves of protests all over the city. Earlier this month, demonstrators in Manhattan tried to block access to several bridges and a major tunnel. Protesters set fire to an Israeli flag during a demonstration in early November. Onlookers cheered as the flag burned and at least one protester stomped on it.
A protester burns an Israeli flag in New York City, Friday, Nov. 10, 2023. Over a thousand pro-Palestine protesters marched from Columbus Circle around midtown Manhattan, ending up at Grand Central.

Ok, who ask these idiots "how stupid can you be"?!
They took it as a challenge and accused a HOSPITAL of genocide in the middle east.
Don't these idiots have anything better to do?
They are not helping the Palestinian people by their actions.
If they want to help there are real charities that collect needed clothing, nonperishable foods, tools, and electronics to send to refugee camps both inside and outside of Israel. If they are really ambitious and head strong they can learn all the myriad of ever changing hoops Israel forces any goods that enter the West Bank or especially Gaza to go through. Then they will have a real reason to hate the Israeli government.
They can get informed and write (or sign onto letters written by lawyers) to their Congress critters, the President, and the Secretary of State.
They can find organizations working on bringing displaced Palestinians to the US, Europe, or other ME countries to donate time/money to.
If they want to directly help the refugee camps in Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Israel, and Egypt need teachers, doctors, nurses, administrators, etc.
None of that is violent, confrontational, or extreme. None of it will get them on the news, internet, or in the paper. No one outside of the organizations/charities they work in will probably even know what they are doing. It will take more effort and staying power than protesting will. It will be needed and go on far longer than the current Israeli operation in Gaza; and continued West Bank settlement expansion.
All that sounds good but that requires action on their part. They are not going to do a damn thing except run their mouths and disrupt life.
It definitely takes more than a 15 minute twitter, tic toc, youtube attention span.
It is also real hard work; which these self entitle idiots have no use for.
...or they could get an education.
Words fail
What vile filth they are. The quoted words for the article below are very true.
Here's What Was Spotted at the DC 'March for Gaza' Hate Rally (townhall.com)
"These are some of the worst people on earth. A collection of Communists, Islamists, anti-Semites, hardcore leftists, and useful idiots, they are the beating activist heart of the Democratic coalition. Pro-Houthi terrorist slogans have become a common feature at these marches and rallies."
Do you suppose that they were targeting the medical staff, the patients or both?
They are targeting anyone within yelling distance. When your goal is to get a video on social media the important thing is that you yell and look at the camera as you make yourself look like a moron.
