A Michigan man suspected of running down an 80-year-old with an ATV in a politically motivated attack has been found dead by apparent suicide, according to reports.

The 22-year-old suspect was found in his home with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound on Monday, after having called police looking to confess, according to WLUC.

"Send someone to pick me up," the unidentified suspect told cops, who responded to his Quincy home and found him dead.

The suspect was seen cruising through town on an ATV and attacking cars with pro-Trump signage.

He was wanted for a spree of vandalism on Sunday afternoon that left an 80-year-old man in critical condition.

The suspect had accosted the elderly man as he placed pro-Donald Trump signs in his yard, initially ripping them up while speeding by on the ATV.

When the victim tried to put the signs back, the suspect ran him down with the ATV and fled.

Prior to the vicious attack, the suspect was seen smashing car windows and slashing tires.

At one point, the suspect ran down an 80-year-old man putting a Trump sign in his yard. Hancock Police Department

The vandalism and attack are all believed to have been politically motivated and targeted people who had pro-Trump and pro-law enforcement signage, according to the City of Hancock Police Department.

His 80-year-old victim remains in critical condition.

"We're not sure what could happen. Could he die from these injuries? Possible," Hancock Police Chief Tami Sleeman told WLUC.

The fact that anyone would think and overweight old woman in a purple hoody with an orange beanie is an insurrectionist is hilarious.

Did she get lost and accidentally wander into the US Senate chamber?

Or maybe she went there to get autographs.

She’s not the one with the zip ties.  However, I do wonder what she was thinking as she was stepping over the broken glass to trespass at the capital surrounded by Trump thugs looking to hang the vice president.

That woman, we're presume she is old, showed up with the riff-raff after the capitol was official duties were forced to be suspended and officials had been removed to safe quarters and stations awaiting the all-clear. Her 'old' butt was photographed or caught on camera prowling around—in violation of capitol police directions to the public. Furthermore, there were official and unofficial documents and other paraphernalia strewn around in disarray. . . none of which was hers to be trampling upon. That is, she was out of order and out of place to be there.

Right.  J6 was so very much worse than Nov., 2014, when the first American city was burned.  What did Obama do about it?  How long did the FBI hunt the rioters?  Attacking the government is a crime worthy of capital punishment but burning a city is a peaceful protest.

As soon as republicans recognize that Jan. 6th wasn't just a bunch or tourists and Charlottesville wasn't a peaceful protest.

As soon as leftists realize that the Summer of Love, and current Pro Hamas supporters, were/are not "Mostly peaceful protests".

Anyone that thinks that Jan 6 was anything more than a riot; where the rioters got bored and left for happy hour; doesn't know what an insurrection is.

Charlotesville had both BLM and Antifa rioters there as well. How quickly leftists forget.

SEATTLE, WASHINGTON —

The deadly white nationalist demonstration in Virginia has brought new attention to an anti-fascist movement whose black-clad, bandana-wearing members have been a regular presence at protests around the country in the last year.

Members of the “antifa” movement were among those protesting the Charlottesville rally last weekend. During a combative news conference Tuesday, President Donald Trump did not mention antifa by name but said there was blame “on both sides” for the violence. He said the counter-demonstrators charged at white nationalists with clubs and suggested they also had a hand in escalating the violence.

“You had a group on one side that was bad, and you had a group on the other side that was also very violent, and nobody wants to say that, but I'll say it right now,” Trump said.

What did antifa do in Charlottesville?

Both sides did engage in violence Saturday. For nearly an hour, fights broke out among a crowd of hundreds of people who gathered in the street before the rally was set to start.

Antifa members were among those protesting the white nationalists, along with Black Lives Matter protesters, clergy members and others. In the mass of hundreds of people, it was not always possible to see who was instigating the fights.

Must be that selective memory that Democrats/leftists are famous for. Like trying to downplay the assassination attempt on Trump by focusing on the bandage on his ear.

Of course it should have not need to be stated, but since it appears to be so: I wish to express care and concern for the 80 years old victim. Peace and best health as possible be unto him and his family. And, anything that can be due him for his losses as determined by whatever means are possible when the offender has taken his own life.

I'd like to see law enforcement enforce laws with some ambition. On many Pennsylvania roads it's fine to have an underage, unlicensed operator zip through town on an unregistered, uninspected, uninsured motor vehicle. Impound the things and they'll start to understand.
