A 13-year-old migrant boy and three masked buddies stabbed a man in a brass-knuckle beatdown near Times Square on Sunday - all because he wouldn't take their photo, cops and sources said.

The Ecuadorian teen and his pals approached the 23-year-old victim around 9 p.m. at West 40th Street and Seventh Avenue and asked him to snap their picture, police and sources said.

When the pedestrian said no, the crew ganged up on him - socking him in the face and stabbing him in the back and leg with a brass-knuckle knife, authorities said.

They also tried to grab his cellphone but were unsuccessful, cops said.

The suspects ran off, but cops managed to nab the young teen after searching the area with the victim, police said.

The incident was first reported by ViralNewsNYC.

The youngster - whose last known address is the notoriously violence-ridden Roosevelt Hotel - was charged with second-degree robbery, cops and sources said.

The victim refused medical attention after the violent encounter with the stab wounds only superficial, authorities and police said.

The three suspects who are still on the loose were each last seen wearing all black and black facemasks, sources said.

The arrested teen was previously busted this past Oct. 26 in connection to a chain snatching on board a northbound F train at McDonald Avenue and Avenue X in Brooklyn, law enforcement sources said.

Four other suspects were involved - with all five holding down the victim, who had been sleeping before the robbery but then tried to fight off the muggers, the sources said.

The teen's bust steps from the Crossroads of the World came weeks after NYPD Chief of Crime Control Strategies Michael Lipetri told The Post that the department is "arresting juveniles at the highest level than we have ever seen before."

"We are seeing juveniles commit five, six, seven robberies. Most of them get dealt with under the Family Court statutes." Lipetri said.

Arrest and deport them. I have never had a problem with that.

Meanwhile an unknown white male in new clothes and a new backpack shot down the CEO of United HealthCare in broad day light at a hotel in NYC and calmly walked away, got an ecycle and left the scene of the crime.

arrest and bring to court, as i've never had a problem with that either. I'm thinking a loved one died, after being denied a procedure or medications, but obviously only my guess.

By strike 3 they should all be charged as adults.

Why don't more Republicans apply to work for Customs and Border patrol or agencies that work on immigration? You could do a lot of good and gain an inside understanding of the issues from within.

The victim refused medical attention after the violent encounter with the stab wounds only superficial, authorities and police said.

So that 'vicious' beat-down was not so fierce after all. From the tone of the article one could get the impression that a life was nearly snuffed out! /s

One would get the impression that our some of our NT residents . . .have never seen a good immigrant. . . and we KNOW that can't be right. As good immigrants surely must outnumber the bad immigrants. So there are good deeds done everyday that NT 'reporters' leave on their cutting room floor when making their propaganda 'productions.'

And all the 'strict fathers/parents' in the house shouted: "Yo!"

And yes, assault and other forms of violence are bad and should not happen. But this seems to be exploitation!

I've seen by far a super majority of good immigrants, as I spent most of my years in construction, and have only read of these violent criminals, with some exceptions

Yes, there are good immigrants that some conservatives don't want to be 'remembered' so they "X" it out of existence. "The victim refused medical attention!" So that 'horrible' - ugly 'brass-knuckled' knife' appears not to have been Ghidorah, the Three-Headed Monster as some would like us to believe.

Yes, there are good immigrants

These are immigrants who cross the border at an official point of entry and do the right thing.

Those that cross the border between these official points of entry are those the majority want removed.

It's in the article. It's "nice" that is there to balance the counternarrative that is being exploited even now. There is violence and then there is—Violence or VIOLENCE

If you read the article the victim was sleeping when the criminals approached them.

Four other suspects were involved - with all five holding down the victim, who had been sleeping before the robbery but then tried to fight off the muggers, the sources said.

Want to define homeless without saying the word homeless? Think the victim has any type of medical coverage or can afford a trip to the emergency room?

Seems by your vary statement you are condoning the violence by blaming the victim for not being more seriously injured.

[] Get the violent illegal immigrants out of the country immediately- one strike and they are gone- never to be allowed in again. The rest of the illegal immigrants can self deport; or take their chances with the Trump administration who will actually be enforcing our borders and immigration laws. If they get caught they suffer the same fate- deportation and never being allowed back in again. It is only 4 years that they will have to run and hide (assuming an ultra conservative Republican like JD Vance doesn't take over for Trump in 4 years). I am sure there are more than enough Democrat sanctuary cities to accept and provide for all 11 million plus that Biden let in.

I am not sure what the heck the difference is to the 'accounting' put forward. My point (if there is one) is this: The incident is an assault, but superficial apparently. It is being dealt with. Thus, I see no need for 'drawn-out' commentary on the bad migrant population when we see bad things happening that go unreported and uncommented on which are more in need of discussion (which never happens, at least on one or the other side of the aisles).

Then there is this. You wrote: "The rest of the illegal immigrants can self deport; or take their chances with the Trump administration who will actually be enforcing our borders and immigration laws. If they get caught they suffer the same fate- deportation and never being allowed back in again."

So there is the some conservative solution to (all) this: Trump, the strict-father figure, the opposite of the nurturer figure,  will soon arrive and beat the hell out of everybody who needs a political and physical beat-down. So just wait it out. In the meantime, we ought to concentrate political fire on essential miscarriages of justice. . . not trying to point to insignificant misdemeanors.

Finally, as for illegal immigrants. . . I don't specifically care what happens with them-as they should not be here illegally. I grow tired of this constant bickering over who is doing what in this country just to stick a finger in the eye of the other guy or gal—politically. If some conservatives are going to 'damn' illegals that are here doing bad things. . . I think it proper under the circumstance to point out their are illegals here who bring good as well.

That said, they should not be exploited for something any 'rag-tag' group of boys or men might do.

I can imagine many a 'situation' where illegal citizens can yet be decent, honorable, and devoted to a country which lets them in and treat them well and good.
