The number one killer of Americans is obesity-related heart disease. I suppose we should ban food since there are waaaay more fat people in America then there are gun-owners? Funny that of the 15 top causes of death in the U.S., the only time Homicide appears in the Top 10 during 2010 is in D.C.. It doesn't even show up as a cause in the aggregate total 15 leading causes of death in the U.S. . I'm really tired of seeing people who want to blame their own shortcomings on others who have absolutely no control over what they do. Gun bans do not work! Every major killing spree has occured in a "Gun-Free Zone" or somewhere guns are not normally carried by patrons. Even the Ft. Hood shooter picked a place inside a military base where guns were not allowed to stage his attack.
But don't let stupid little things like the "facts" get in the way of a good knee-jerk reaction...or a chance to further strip American's of their Rights, eh?!
Citizen Cane seriously doubt that intentional killings by obesity is a serious crime. Gun bans won't work as One man believes he is a well regulated militia and stand your ground laws make you a serious target for any Gun totting freak that has a pissed off moment against Christians, Muslims, Baptist or any other church or Religionor any Nationality or Race of people.
