Character - Different Meanings to Different People

Character, integrity and loyalty are three qualities that my grandfather told me were the basis of what kind of person we turn out to be and what kind of example we are to others/

I saw this on line and it captured a lot of what he meant

Character is doing the right thing when it isn't easy to do.

So very, very true, Robert! I do believe that if you have it in your heart to do something for someone who can do nothing for you, and you do it with joy, it shows the finest in you.

Right on target - doing good things in order to be recognized is vanity, doing good things because it is the right thing to do is character and doing good things anonymously shines the light on the deed and not on the doer which is the best scenario.

I came across the graphic below and it struck me as vital cog in the character building process
