If there’s any upside at all to the insanity and tragedy of the past 15 months of governments’ inept, callous, and destructive ‘response’ to the COVID-19 pandemic, one is the coinage of hilarious new words and phrases that perfectly describe the moment in history we’ve been living under.

For example, those who accept the lockdown and forced masking line without questions or an ounce of critical thinking are ‘Branch Covidians,’ because a more apt description for an actual member of a violently destructive cult could not possibly exist. Their leader, the ‘High Priest of Wuhan’ is, of course, Dr. Anthony Fauci.

Media, politicians, and muppets with medical degrees constantly (and wrongly) predicting doom and gloom are members of ‘Team Apocalypse.’ 

Governments that impose ridiculous, draconian, and useless rules on populations in order to ‘stop the spread’ of a virus that can’t be stopped are engaging in ‘Corona fascism.’ 

‘Covidiots’ do dumb, unscientific things, like wearing two masks (or even one) in a car alone or on a bicycle trail, because they think doing those things will somehow protect them from the worstest plague ever.

A ‘mask nazi’ will approach and try to shame non-mask wearers, usually getting well within 6 feet to do so.

Face masks, disgusting interventions that have been forced on people for well over a year despite the fact that they are completely useless and potentially harmful, deserve their own category of mockery and disdain. Derogatory nicknames like ‘face diapers,’ ‘face muzzles,’ ‘bacteria collectors,’ and ‘COVID diapers’ just scratch the surface of the hatred normal people should have for the ridiculous contraptions.

Most of us within eyeshot of a column like this are, of course, members of ‘Team Reality,’ because, well, we aren’t brainwashed sheeple. We believe in the ability to ‘breathe freely,’ that everyone should have the choice to accept or not accept the ‘jab,’ and that any governmental imposition of a vaccine passport system is a new form of ‘segregation.’ We also firmly reject the notion that the failure to restrict everyone’s God-given freedoms will ‘kill grandma.’ And we know, with tragic certainty, that we were never, ever, ‘all in this together.’

So yeah, there’s a ton of new pandemic-related verbiage out there, but by far my favorite term - and it’s not even close - is one simple word, because it encapsulates everything above and everything that’s wrong about forcefully imposing useless and destructive interventions on entire populations outside of law and against their will, all in the name of ‘health and safety.’

‘Covidstan’

What a word! I wish I had come up with it, but sadly, I did not. Thankfully, however, someone did. Steve Deace of Blaze Radio Network’s “Steve Deace Show,” the man who seems to have coined the term or at least became the first media figure to use it regularly in both broadcast and social media, tells me he started using the word ‘Covidstan’ as a “holistic description of what we're up against.”

Indeed. Thinking back on the hellish last 15 months and the many years of struggle to follow, ‘Covidstan’ is just perfect, capturing both the corrupt ineptness of a Banana Republic and the religion-based tyranny of an Islamicist hellhole all in three amazing syllables. If a word could have a punchable face, Covidstan would. Just by its existence, it begs to be fought.

And fight we must, continually, doggedly, and without compromise. Because Covidstan isn’t a place where dissension is allowed, where ideas are batted back and forth and the best are allowed to rise to the top. It’s a religious dictatorship run by quasi-cult-leaders in white jackets whose sole purpose is their own power, wealth, and fame. 

Let alone ‘scientific,’ these aren’t even rational people. They are terrorists. And you don’t compromise with terrorists. You ‘destroy’ them, in this case figuratively, by first refusing to submit to their ridiculous edicts and demands, then relentlessly assaulting their credibility with facts and data, and finally, if possible, bringing the power of governments and the judicial system down upon their worthless, discredited heads.

Forced public masking must be resisted and destroyed EVERYWHERE it is practiced, including and especially schools and public transportation, places where the system seeks to maintain its foothold in an effort to expand it again once the next respiratory virus wave hits (and it will). Vaccine passports must be rejected and made illegal in states controlled by the GOP, and any notion that children or the previously infected, a population group at absolutely ZERO statistical risk, should be compelled to take a vaccine should be rejected out of hand for the quasi-medical quackery that it is. And ANY form of lockdowns or business closures as a way to ‘curb the spread’ of any new COVID-19 wave, however small or large, should be fought at all costs.

Covidstan, a ‘nation’ whose ‘borders’ stretch across the globe, was established and maintained based on lies - that the death rate was far larger than it turned out to be, that children and the young were at statistical risk, and that non-pharmaceutical human ‘interventions’ could make a difference in stopping a highly contagious respiratory virus. It is led by frauds and populated by sheep all-too-willing to mindlessly obey those frauds. It has zero credibility and even less moral basis for existing.

As such, Covidstan must be nuked, utterly destroyed, its green places plowed with salt so that nothing, not even a single, solitary weed, grows there again for as long as time remains.

If an article could having a whiny little bitch punchable face it would be this one.  I live in a densely populated region and there is literally no place in it that is requiring masks right now.  Yes, many people are still choosing to wear them, but that is their choice.  It doesn’t bother me a bit and it hasn’t bothered them one bit to see me mingling amongst them without a mask.  When I get the flu and they don’t then they may get the last laugh.  However, I’ll take my chances because I’d much rather go back to the old normal.

It's actually the mist and droplets that carry the virus that most cheap masks stop. 

Have been wearing a KN95 5 layer mask and a Wiley eye protection system with the clear lenses installed for over a year now. The eyes are also a point of access for the virus.

Received my second dose of vaccine last week and will be masking for at least two more weeks until full immunity kicks in.

Since rarely anybody in the closest tiny redneck town to me masked, washed or social distanced in the last year and will likely refuse vaccination, I'll be masking anytime I go to town for the foreseeable future.

Exactly.  And in states with democrat governor and GOP legislature like Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania the governors used emergency powers like a dictatorship and openly defied their legislative bodies. It took months of going through the courts to overturn them.  Then when the governor of Wisconsin lost his powers he decided no covid rules at all were preferable to sharing the emergency powers hoping for a spike he could blame on the GOP for taking his powers away.  I’m just glad that the people of Michigan openly defied witless.  The more she threatened longer and harsher lockdowns as punishment for reopening defiance the more openly they rebelled against her.

So you seed an article yesterday that says if the Chinese had been forthcoming with information 3 weeks earlier, 95% of the infections could have been avoided. Now, you seed an article claiming that all of the actions possible at that time (masking, social distancing, and lockdowns) are not only largely ineffective, but an assault on your freedoms. Apparently, your only purpose is to get angry about stuff, which is certainly a path you can take, it just seems really stupid and counterproductive.

Especially when you look at countries around China, like Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, and Vietnam. The country which performed the worst, Japan, has 6% of the deaths per capita as the US. Asians have high levels of civic duty, so they masked up and distanced without fussing.

If these idiots refuse to follow social guidelines and even simple mandates and/or laws designed to protect the general population then I see little reason to offer "extraordinary" care when they get sick.

WTF?? Please feel free to disobey any and all laws you feel are inappropriate. Do any of you "Constitutionalists" feel that a society can exist without compliance to rules and or regulations? Whatever happened to:

"We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."

IMHO, these words are the basis for establishing the social guidelines and laws to protect the American people from this disease or any other. THIS is the basis for national health regulations. You should be happy it was left to the states to decide how to handle such mandates, you would have shit yourselves if it was a national mandate (fat ass didn't have the balls to a national mandate). Such a mandate could have prevented some of the 500,000+ American deaths.

Therein lies the rub. Personal responsibility "could have" prevented some of the 500,000+ deaths too. Why is it people need GovCo to tell them what to do and how to act responsibly? Just who in the FUCK are you talking to? Who the hell is "you folks"? Are you blaming the spread all on conservatives? LMMFAO yeah so many conservatives in NYC and Washington state. I personally took all the precautions and couldn't get  a shot early on and I got a horrific case and spent 27 days under hospital care because someone here at work got it and spread it to 7 of us. AND SHE WAS MASKED UP DUE TO EARLIER BREAST CANCER SURGERY. I have since gotten my first Moderna shot and the second is 7-5-21. Had to wait according to my physician for 60 days after my diagnosis.

I thought that sentence spelled it out pretty well. Those people who won't get the shot. No, I'm not blaming all conservatives for spreading the disease. However, there is a larger percentage of conservatives who have not and will not get the shot compared to more liberal people. (My observations based on data provided by 9News in Denver. This data is of percentages of county populations who have gotten the shot. Most mountain and plains counties have higher rates of non-vaccinated people than the more liberal I-25 corridor in CO.) In your case I remind you that the mask is to protect you from others who have the virus. She didn't follow protocols and infected you. Where you wearing a mask? BTW, Congrats on the shots.

If you take offence to "you folks" then maybe you ought to consider why you to offence to it. Are you one of the people who didn't follow state safety mandates? Do you continue to flaunt such ideas? then maybe it might apply to you. Otherwise STFU and answer the question: Where the F#$% is the PERSONAL RESPONSILITY of those who "you folks" applies to?

Yet the amount of deaths hospitalizations and total cases were higher in the areas of maximum enforcement of the most rigid rules.  The man made nature of this virus and it’s spread abilities from human to human with no known source of animal to human initial transmission makes it likely we were going to have a high casualty count no matter what we did until we used therapeutics we could use from existing meds (HCQ, Ivermectin) design new ones, and come up with vaccines.  The actual effort to prevent even those who wanted to from using HCQ and ivermectin for this disease cost more human lives here than any other single domestic human factor.

We have the China virus numbers of all the states.  The bluer and more restrictive the higher their caseload.  New York and Florida are the perfect contrasts.

I was pretty much a recluse before the pandemic so staying in was not much of a change.  I wore and still wear a mask because I used to be a nurse and understand the importance of doing so.  I don't give a rat's patoot about the bs the author is spewing in regards to my choices.
