Crickets from loud-mouthed ‘squad’, open-border left on Biden’s solid rejection of Cuban refugees
The “Squad’s” lack of interest in Cuba comes amid Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas announcing this week that all Cuban asylum seekers will automatically be rejected, period. “The time is never right to attempt migration by sea. To those who risk their lives doing so, this risk is not worth taking. Allow me to be clear: if you take to the Sea, you will not come to the United States,” he said Wednesday. “If individuals make, establish a well-founded fear of persecution or...

The left, the squad, and BLM are showing their sheer and utter hypocrisy regarding both the Cuban protests and the government there.  They are silent regarding the Biden regimes bald faced hypocrisy on the immigration issue and socialism.

The same Democrats who complained so loudly and incessantly about former President Donald Trump’s tough immigration and asylum policies are now as quiet as a mouse about the Biden administration’s similar policies as it pertains to Cuba.

These include members of the so-called “Squad”: Reps. Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ayanna Pressley and Cori Bush.

Only Bush has tweeted about the uprising in Cuba, and only to complain that the freedom-seeking Cubans are receiving more favorable coverage than the violent pro-criminal, anti-police Black Lives Matter rioters of last year:

Ocasio-Cortez meanwhile has been busy demonizing white people, as usual:

The “Squad’s” lack of interest in Cuba comes amid Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas announcing this week that all Cuban asylum seekers will automatically be rejected, period.

“The time is never right to attempt migration by sea. To those who risk their lives doing so, this risk is not worth taking. Allow me to be clear: if you take to the Sea, you will not come to the United States,” he said Wednesday.

“If individuals make, establish a well-founded fear of persecution or torture, they are referred to third countries for resettlement. They will not enter the United States,” he added.

This policy is not at all dissimilar to the policy of the Trump administration, which stated simply that asylum seekers who travel through a third country such as Mexico must first seek protection in that country.

This policy, of course, provoked hellish backlash from congressional Democrats, their media allies, and also the Biden camp as well.

When President Joe Biden took over in January, he promptly eliminated the policy.

“The Biden administration said on Saturday it was immediately suspending Trump-era asylum agreements with El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras, part of a bid to undo his Republican predecessor’s hardline immigration policies,” Reuters reported at the time.

Yet months later, he’s now applying pretty much the exact same policy, but only toward Cubans (and reportedly Haitians as well) — and all with no backlash from either congressional Democrats or their slavishly fawning media allies.

Why?

One theory is that Cuban immigrants would be more likely to vote for Republicans than Democrats on account of their firsthand experience with Marxism:

But it’s not just Republicans complaining about this move. So are immigrant groups, to their credit, including the same ones who’d also complained about the previous administration’s policies.

Observe:

The only ones remaining quiet are, it appears, Democrats, who by the way are the same people who’ll call you racist if you point out that the reason they support endless illegal immigration across the southern border is because they want more Democrat voters.

Never mind that Democrats have outright admitted this numerous times.
