An insightful analysis of the forces of deception rapidly reshaping America's morals, social policies, and culture, with a call to specific action, written by a thoughtful and courageous Christian social scientist on the front lines of today's issues.
Cultural elites in the media, academia, and politics are daily deceiving millions of Americans into passively supporting policies that are detrimental to the nation and their own best interest. Although some Americans can see through the smokescreen, they feel powerless to redirect the forces inside and outside government that radically threaten cherished values and principles.
Drawing on her training in political science and law, Dr. Swain thoughtfully examines the religious significance of the founding of our nation and the deceptions that have infiltrated our daily lives and now threaten traditional families, unborn children, and members of various racial and ethnic groups—as well as national sovereignty itself--and provides action points for the people of this country to make the political system more responsive.
The book is divided into two sections:
Forsaking what we once knew. Re-embracing truth and justice in policy choices.
It also covers key topics such as:
America's shift to moral relativism. America's religious roots. Abortion's fragile facade. Historical and biblical views on families and children. Erosion of rule of law, national security, and immigration. Racial and ethnic challenges. Reclaiming the future
The author on the morning after....
What hateful nonsense.
Tony Perkins has 'Woody Vision'.
We are a secular nation based upon a constitution.
Americans always will remain free to believe or not based upon their own conscious understanding of the world. There always have been and always will be religious cranks telling us we are going to Hell...
Don't buy their books. They are completely full of shit. There is no hell to being with. It's all bullshit!
And the ones being taught critical race theory?
I never heard of it, so I looked it up. It turns out to be some gobbledygook nobody can even define. I guess that makes it easier to confuse rubes and mislead people thus to get ahold of their money. I am not buying it anyway...
If there is, it's where all the interesting people go to.
Christians worthy of being called so should concentrate their efforts on reading 'The Darkening Age: The Christian Destruction of the Classical World' by Catherine Nixey instead.
Oh, is that what we should read?
I'll stand by Dr. Swain
So many fear what she says.
"So many fear what she says."
Ennui comes to mind far more ... and you can post as many pictures of this never to be a saint as you or Hannity or Dobbs or Perkins choose. None of you are in any position to decide.
I needed a good laugh this morning. Where is Dobbs?
In your article.
Moving on ...
Why would anyone fear what she has to say?
?
I would buy that book, not this phonier than thou 'Dr.' Swain's.
Nixey is a brilliant writer who combines history with horror with humor.
