A Movie Quiz That's More of a Challenge
PLEASE DO NOT POST YOUR ANSWERS IN A COMMENT, OR YOU WILL RUIN THE QUIZ FOR EVERYONE ELSE. POST THEM IN A PRIVATE NOTE TO ME, BUZZ OF THE ORIENT, AND I WILL REPLY WITH YOUR SCORE AND THE CORRECT ANSWERS.
Don't forget that I am on the other side of the world (of most of you) and I could be asleep when you send your answers, so be patient - I will get to your PN as soon as I can.
The last quiz was a little too easy, so this one has some lesser known movies but a lot of them were first run top movies. Most of the symbols or pictures represent the title of a movie or otherwise an important item or aspect of it or is in some way representative of it. None of the image clues are actual screen shots from the movie films and I try to use clues that do not make it easy to do a web search, and since this is a test of your movie memory, web searching is cheating anyway. Most of the questions are about movies that received Oscar nominations, but some classics and lesser known ones are included. With many of these if you just say what the pictures are out loud you've named the movie. So give it a try and NAME THESE MOVIES.

Most of these movies were nominated for the Best Picture Oscar, so although they may not have won the Oscar, they are top rate movies. There are a few, however, that were relatively unknown, so this will be a more challenging quiz than the previous one - a bigger test of your memory and skill. Remember.....

Only five members have tried this quiz. In a couple of days I'll be closing it off and announcing the winners, so if anyone has any intention of parricipating, better do it now. There won't be another quiz for a long time. Interest in doing the mind exercise of answering the movie quizzes seems to be waning, and I'm running out of movies that are suitable anyways.

ARGHHHHHH!!!!! 14 - I need to watch more movies.
This quiz has been up for a week, nine members have participated, so i'm now posting the winners and the answers. Snuffy aced it - a perfect score of 20. In second place Kathleen got 15 1/2, and there was a tie for third spot - MsAubrey and Perrie got 15. Honourable mention is also a tie of Veronica and John Russell with 14, but everyone else still did well with scores tied at 13. I already have half the movies for the next quiz and will post it soon.
