Watch a classic film free - The Life of Emile Zola
This 1937 movie is IMO a great classic, and sadly, an early example of the never-ending antisemitism. Paul Muni is my favourite actor, because he virtually becomes the character he portrays, his performances are beyond magnificent. He was not awarded the Oscar that year, but he won it the next year for another biographical role - playing Louis Pasteur, and in my opinion it was given to him to make up for the fact that it should have been given him for playing Zola.
Here is a one sentence description of the movie from IMDb, but there is so much more...
"The biopic of the famous French muckraking writer and his involvement in fighting the injustice of the Dreyfuss Affair."
Keep in mind that this movie was produced in 1937, and it does not have present-day fancy film techniques, but you xhould focus on the story and the acting.

For the love of classic movies - here is a classic to watch free..
It's been years since I saw the movie so I'll be watching it again later today.
If I had the feeling that more than only one person would take advantage of this kind of gift I would do more of them.
I didn't even know that you could do it, Buzz.
I like the way it's broken up into sections/parts and again it is a terrific film. I forgot how good Paul Muni was as an actor. I have a few more parts to watch.
Anytime you want to post another let me know so I don't miss it.
I forgot to add that the picture was crystal clear and the audio was excellent. I like the Chinese subtitles.
If it turns out that there is any audience for my posting great classic films free for the watching, the next one will be my very favourite movie, Casablanca.
Although I had no problem opening and watching Casablanca, viewers in the USA could not, so I will be deleting the article I posted linking it. Seems that some government is censoring that movie, although China did not.
