Official Trailer | Death on the Nile | 20th Century Studios
I was going to post the trailer for the new Marvel's Dr Strange: Into the Multiverse of Madness, but most of you don't seem to appreciate the nerdiness so here's something I hope you will enjoy.
A sequel to the 2017 Kenneth Branagh movie Murder On The Orient Express returns the Belgian sleuth Hercule Poirot, from the Agatha Christie novels, on an Egyptian vacation aboard a glamorous river steamer. Things turn into a terrifying search for a murderer when a picture-perfect couple’s idyllic honeymoon is tragically cut short. Set against an epic landscape of sweeping desert vistas and the majestic Giza pyramids, this dramatic tale of love gone wrong features a cosmopolitan group of impeccably dressed travelers and enough wicked twists and turns to leave audiences guessing until the final, shocking denouement.
This movies has been pushed back several times. Originally set for 2019 release it got delayed in filming due to the ongoing Covid 19 pandemic. Then it got pushed around several times until being set for fall 2021. On April 3rd 2021 it was announced to be delayed again to February 2022 due to the Armie Hammer sexual assault accusations.
If you haven't seen the previous 2017 Murder On The Orient Express you've missed a cinema treat. The acting, directing and cinematography are what we all look for in great movies. I expect the same from this one.
Director: Kenneth Branagh
Writers: Agatha Christie(based upon the novel by), Michael Green(screenplay by)
Stars: Kenneth Branagh, Gal Gadot, Tom Bateman
Expanding my posts to other genre... I grew up reading Agatha Christie novels and preferred her stuff over the Sir Doyle's Sherlock Holms books.
Now, this looks interesting and I have seen ''Murder on the Orient Express''.
Looking forward to seeing this one.
I'm also waiting on the sequel to Knives Out on Netflix.
