This time, besides the two image clues, the third clue is and it is REQUIRED that the movie MUST be one of the 100 movies on the TOP 100 MURDER MYSTERY MOVIES list linked below. Open and use that IMDb list to help you with finding the correct match to the clues and making sure of title accuracy. The release year of the movie is not necessary.
NOTICE: This IMDb list has a second page with further movies listed, notwithstanding the fact that the title is the top 100 movies. Do not bother with the second page with the additional movies. The quiz is based ONLY on the movies numbered 1 to 100 on the first page of the list.

I have seen 13 of the movies on the quiz myself so although some of the titles should be easily identifiable by the clue images, many will still require you to either have watched the movies or been familiar with them because the clues will represent an item, fact, scenario or aspect that will require you to have seen the movie or know the story. About 12 of the movies have been included in previous quizzes, but these are almost all new image clues, and as usual I don't think any of them are actual screen shots from the movies. I try to use clues that do not make it easy to do a web search, and since this is a test of your knowledge of movies, web searching using web programs that identify movies from the clues is cheating.
Note that I never use the same movie more than once in the same quiz, and usually the order of the clues is important. A bit of advice: sometimes the clues might suggest more than one movie, so make sure you take BOTH clues into consideration.
THE RULES
I am being fairly lenient in my scoring, and not overly concerned about spelling mistakes, punctuation, capitalizing or leaving out or adding an extraneous "A" or "The", but even if you guess the answer you should check the movie name on the linked IMDb movie list to make sure it is the full and correct name. For example, you will lose a half mark if you make the title one word if it is two, or two words when it is only one because that means to me that you are not sure of the title. So just identifying the images does not necessarily mean to me that you know the name of the movie. For the previous quiz, Indie Movies, a title for one of the movies came up a little different when the list was opened in America than it was for me here so if that happens again you do not lose any score. As well, if you can convince me that my clues equally or better indicate a movie other than the one I've chosen, provided it is one of the 100 movies on the IMDb list linked above , I will accept that alternative as a good answer, and I have accepted alternatives previously. Please also send only one answer for each question - I cannot score it if you provide more than one movie per question.

The return of the movie quiz - a new genre: Murder-Mysteries. Some of these are considered classics, some have been fairly popular, but some are also "roads less travelled" and will take a little work to figure out the titles. But hey, what's a quiz without some challenge, eh? So this one should be a good test of your movie knowledge. It will be open for answer submissions until this Sunday evening around 10 p.m. New York City time. That gives you 5 days, including the whole weekend, to work on your answers, but remember, as always....

Quick question.... The IMDb list actually has a second page going up to 161 movies for some reason, even though the list is named the top 100. The quiz was just from the first page of 100, right?

Holy smoke - I saw that notation near the top of the article, but it didn't register in my mind that there was a second page, and I never opened it. Yes, the quiz is based on ONLY the movies listed on the first page of the linked article, i.e. the first hundred movies. Have to amend the quiz with that info now.

Going to try, but time is limited.
Its unseasonably warm here now, yesterday I had a reading of 86 F while running errands, today 83 - 84 F. Struggled in the heat of two days ago of the low 70's to change tractor tires to get ready for field work.
But this is Michigan, by Monday they are talking about snow and that will be the third time for the frogs.
I appreciate that you do what you can. What you did a few minutes ago was bring the quiz back to the Front (Home) Page, and I thank you for that.
Looks like a no go on this one, couple machine down jobs to be done by tomorrow and one I still need to make a part for and machine another part.
Sundays I don't usually visit the computer. I did however have six figured out.

The promise WAS fulfilled, and 8 players participated in this quiz, which is now closed. Everybody did well. Dig, Veronica and Perrie tied for first place with perfect 20 scores. In second place were Split Personality, charger 383 and Snuffy with scores of 19, and coming in third were Jasper2529 and Kathleen each with acores of 18. No Honourable Mentions or any scores less than Winners' Circle ones. I think I'm going to have to start making the quizzes a little more challenging if they're being found to be too easy, but I still want them to be fun to do. Thanks to all participants for helping to keep the quiz visible, and for playing. Not sure what the next quiz will be, but I'm thinking about Survival Thrillers.
