‘Hot Take: The Depp/Heard Trial’ is a dramatized look at the “most-watched trial of the year.”
Building on the conclusion of Johnny Depp and Amber Heard ‘s defamation trial, the “most-watched trial of the year” has now been made into a movie. The Tubi original Hot Take: The Depp/Heard Trial is a fictionized retelling of the case closely followed around the world by millions.
Ultimately, the jury deliberated that Heard defamed Depp with domestic violence allegations included in her December 2018 op-ed piece, while Depp was held liable for a defamatory statement made about Heard by his lawyer.
The official trailer for the film reveals that Hot Take will present both sides of the trial presented by the lawyers representing Johnny Depp and Amber Heard. Aside from the lead-up and scenes from the two-month trial, the trial also references the TikTok videos that mocked Heard during the trial. The Tubi original expedited production by partnering with Fox Entertainment’s MarVista Entertainment.

For two reasons I think I would like to watch this movie - the first being my love of the movies and the second because of the profession I retired from in Canada.
Sounds way too voyeuristic for either my sense or sensibility.
That was NOT a third reason for my interest. Any biography can be accused of being voyeuristic, although if EVERYTHING were exposed in this movie, which I'm sure would be considered pornographic and not legally permitted, it sure as hell WOULD be voyeuristic.

I happen to enjoy court dramas.
Morning....well each to their own I guess..I have never set foot in a court.
When you see how some of the solicitors etc act l have a pretty good idea I would be held in contempt of court.
I certainly would not tolerate how they speak and carry on at times regardless of who they are or what they represent..
