PLEASE, PLEASE, READ WHAT IS BELOW FIRST AND FOLLOW THE RULES IN ORDER TO GET FULL MARKS FOR YOUR ANSWERS. IT IS ALWAYS A LITTLE DIFFERENT FROM THE LAST QUIZ.
Back to one list of a single genre. So besides the two image clues, the third clue is and it is REQUIRED that the movie MUST be a movie on the IMDb list that is linked following this paragraph. I have seen only 3 of the movies on this quiz that I can remember, so, as always some of the movies can be identified from just the images that often just spell out the title, but some may require you to either have watched the movies or be familiar with them or will require you to do a little research into them because the clues might represent an item, fact, scenario or aspect that will require you to have seen the movie or know the story or what the film is about. No more than a few, if that many, have been included in previous quizzes, but these are almost all new image clues, and as usual I don't think any of them are actual screen shots from the movies. I try to use clues that do not make it easy to do a web search, and since this is a test of your knowledge of movies, web searching using web programs that identify movies from the clues is cheating.

Note that I never use the same movie more than once in the same quiz, and usually the order of the clues is important
THE RULES
I am being fairly lenient in my scoring, and not overly concerned about spelling mistakes, punctuation, capitalizing or leaving out or adding an extraneous "A" or "The", but even if you guess the answer you should check the movie name on the linked list or web to make sure it is the full and correct name. For example, and this will be important for all my quizzes, you will lose a half mark if you make the title one word if it is two, or two words when it is only one because that means to me that you are not sure of the title. Just identifying the images does not necessarily mean that you know the name of the movie. That is why it is important for you to check your answers with the lists to make sure they are correct. As well, if you can convince me that my clues are equally as relevant for or better indicative of a movie other than the one I've chosen, provided it is one of the movies on the IMDb list linked above , I will accept that alternative as a good answer. In some previous quizzes I did accept alternatives. Please also send only one answer for each question - I cannot score it if you provide more than one movie per question.
A situation came up on a previous quiz where the movie list link I used came up with a different name than the one the participant opened although it was the same link, so if that happens, please tell me.

Although some of the movies can be identified by just one of the clues, some of the clues can apply to the wrong movie, so it is IMPORTANT to take BOTH clues into consideration.

Back to a genre quiz - scariest movies. I may have posted something like this one long ago, but I think that most of the movies on this one were not included in a previous quiz. It seems that every time I say that I think a quiz is going to be a little more challenging, there get posted a number of perfect and near perfect scores, so I'm curious to see how this one works out. This quiz will be open for a week, and will be closed on Friday October 6th at about 10 p.m. New York time, but please don't wait until the last minute, and if you happen to be in New York City, please don't drown. Try your analytical skills on this one, but always remember (and even I forgot once).....

Judging by the clues, this one could be tricky. We'll give it a try.
Hopefully, they can find a way to transfer all the rainwater from the northeast to the southwest.
You just have to jack up NYC and slope the rest of the country so the water will run off to the west.

Sorry, cannot help here, apart from a few favourites I watch very few films. (DELETED) was the only scary that I watched (and enjoyed). Year 10 at high school, everyone went to the cinema, and yes they DID lock the doors once the film started !!! (Great advertising to ensure a full house at the start).

I make it a rule to not vote up my own articles/seeds or comments as I consider that to be vain, arrogant and narcissistic and in any event my comments are ineffective to help, but yours are really necessary these days.

Wednesday morning bump, a little later than normal as I had an early doctor appointment that lasted rather long.
And a Wednesday afternoon bump to (maybe) elevate us from the current #5 position.

Oh yeah. Just a cataract to get taken care of. Not a big deal, but it took several hours in the office to get everything set up and surgery confirmed.

This quiz is now closed. Never before have all the quiz players fared so well - three have perfect 20 scores and 5 missed by only one guess for scores of 19.
