Your Favourite ONE Movie - and WHY ?
I've done this kind of article before, when I administered the "Classic Cinema" group. Although lots of people had indicated what their favourite movie was, they did not bother to explain WHY they considered it their favourite movie. As well, there were many who would list more than one, sometimes a whole list. PLEASE, just name ONE movie, and say WHY it is your favourite movie. If you can, post a photo from the movie on your comment, even a trailer or video clip from it.
My favourite movie is and has for many years been "Casablanca" - not just because it is always at or near the top of almost every list of "Best Movies", but I have watched that movie so many times, and have never tired of watching it. I believe I have watched it more times than any other movie I have ever seen and as many know I have watched a lot of movies. At least one of the reasons I choose Casablanca, probably the most important one, is that I never tire of watching it because of the repartee between Humphrey Bogart playing Rick Blaine and Claude Rains playing Prefect Louis Renault. There seem to be more famous quotable lines from that movie than from any other.
So please remember - ONE MOVIE ONLY, AND THE REASON WHY IT IS YOUR FAVOURITE.
