Starting to get nice out there again Mac. Of course, you are able to capture even the harshness of winter in a beautiful way, but spring has even more glorious opportunities.
It appears that you played with the colour in the third photo for sure, the second perhaps a little, and the first could be natural but with maybe just a little tinting. Am I right? Notwithstanding, all are very appealing.
In the 40's here today. Almost all the snowbanks (o.k. the smaller snowbanks) are melted. Still riding in the upper reaches of New York-Tug Hill still reporting a 4 foot base-if you miss spring elsewhere, there should be some available in a few months up there.......
Good eye (as good as that dang Joe Carter's). The bottom image is a digital painting and the top two were slightly bumped up regarding saturation. Images I submit to publishers are minimally, if at all enhanced. Images I market as prints and for friends to view are sometimes modified -- the reason being the "color space" differences regarding print specs RGB, CYMK, sRGB (Internet/Web colors) or grayscale. Different web sites display colors differently as well and often, not to my liking.
For some reason I did not get an e-mail alert for your or Larry's or Buzz's comments. I did get one for Perrie's and that's how I became aware of the others.
You're a better spotter than I there are browns, rainbows, Palominos, large and smallmouth, sunnies, suckers, and shiners in that stream (it's in Philly and just across the line into Montgomery County and the water is not cold or clean enough to hold brookies).
I used to love baseball, had a set of 4 season's tickets behind home plate, truly believed there was something spiritual about the game, but then the strike soured me on it - reduced it to commercialism and money. I really don't care about it any more. However, with the same dreams as a Cubs fan, I would be really happy to see the Leafs take the Stanley Cup again.
Sandlot Baseball was a big deal in Philly and highly competitive; The best in the city were picked by opposing coaches to play in the Annual All Star Game at Connie Mack Stadium, home of the Phillies. I'm shamelessly blowing my own horn here - that's me on the left.
It was a major thrill for a 14 year old kid to pitch from the same mound as the likes of Robin Roberts, Sandy Koufax and others. I will never forget those days -- one in 1958, the other in 1960.
My father took the picture. The kid on the right was a damn good first baseman and left handed hitter.
Byrd and Revere are the youngsters the Phillies need to get the show on the road this year and so far are hitting very nice. Good luck to your Phillies this year A. Mac!
Get out there! Don't miss it.
Another set of great photo's AMac.

Very Nice Pics!
Mac only you can make leaf bare trees look beautiful!

Wonderful photos Mac. I spotted a couple of brookies in the stream.
''Only you'', are you singing to Mac now, Perrie? I think that Platters have dibs on that song.
Thanks Spikegary

God, Nature the Cosmos does that, I just take pictures.

I wish it did.
Egads this gives me spring fever A Mac; great pictures! We are still froze-up with no end in sight, so this gives me spiritual-blue-balls.
:~)
Here's a real spring-fever precipitator Larry especially for you, my friend.
Alright; thanks A. Mac! Gosh I wish I was there right now.
Your baseball photos are so goodI smell pine tar and taste peanuts!
:~)
Larry,
Field of Phillies' nightmares.
Then, 15 years later play the video.
I can't open the video.
Sorry Buzz; I forgot about that.
It's Chase Utley at the 2008 World Series Celebration at Citizens Bank Park in Philly.
He gets to the mic and says "World Champions" and a packed house cheers wildly.
Utley pauses then steps back to the mic and says "WORLD FUCKING CHAMPIONS!" -- and the packed house cheers even more wildly.
A very Philadelphia moment.

Great work as always Mac!! Just beautiful!!
That's a deal too good to pass up!

Most everyone here has a dismal outlook for the 2014 Phillies -- I'm personally hoping for a repeat of 1993 minus Joe Carter.
You have a chance. Carter'snot there
The Minnisota Twinkies might do alright this year, they have a fairly balanced team and did alright during the winter. Fingers crossed.
:~)
A MAc
We were out enjoying a brief spring and the beauty of nature a few days ago but received 4 more inches on winter last evening in NE Ohio
So now we wait to see the beauty of spring anew later in the week when it supposed to be 60+ degrees
Nothing so beautiful or unpredictable than Mother Nature
