Using the photograph of a harvest moon taken in Philadelphia in 2010, a deep blue, twilight sky taken in Wyoming, two different deer images (c. 1999 and 2012), and tree silhouettes taken in a Philly park in (c. 1986), I literally put together a new image.
Perfect. What else can I say? I applaud your facility to master photographic technique - makes me reminiscent of the days when I would spend hours in the darkroom.
Mac that picture is beautiful. But more so, I would like you to do some videos of how to do it. That way we all can learn and you'll be teaching again!
Ansel Adams - my hero. Could a digital darkroom have improved his works? You know that I've always preferred B&W. I suppose it would have given him the opportunity to be more experimental. If DaVinci were alive today, could the Mona Lisa be made more perfect?
I make my wife crazy when we go to museums because I can spend hours just wandering and looking without any real knowledge about how the art was created
I like what I like and enjoy going to see it over and over
There are a number of paintings I have visited dozens of times. In Philly at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, it's William Sidney Mount's, "The Painter's Triumph."
I have my favorites too mostly landscapes and pictures from the southwest U.S.
I do some volunteer tutoring and mentoring at the Jr/Sr High School and sometime I get a lot of satisfaction out of seeing the "creations" of the young art students some of which show real talent and some of which I am sure their parents will love anyway
Since I retired we do a lot of museum, national park, national monument trips and I enjoy just seeing the beauty of many things natural and imaginary I guess
Well, okay, I guess you can apply that question to many things so I guess, notwithstanding what I said. the answer has to be - what else but to expand?

Another beauty Mac. I love the way these are ''layered'' to make one photo.

It is most flattering and gratifying when I can please friends.
Thank you all.
Thank you for sharing your talent with us.

Buzz,
I often wonder what Ansel Adams who manipulated his negatives, might have done in the DIGITAL DARKROOM!
Perrie,
You'll have to teach me the process but it sounds worthwhile.
Thank you, JFT.
And please let me know when you can receive mail.

I'm not suggesting messing with perfection, only wondering what such masters might do with modern media.
A Mac
Beautiful!
RIO,
Most gratified you like it.
Thank you.

RIO,
Maybe we'll cross each others' paths one day.
Beautiful!
Otherworldly, yet familiar. So cool!
As usual A Mac another beautiful layered photo.
Hey, get rid of the leaves on the trees. deer and put a witch with big red eyes on a broom flying across that moon for Halloween.
Maybe A.Mac already did that kind of thing for the movie E.T.
Let me phone home and ask if I did.
Optical Illusions.......
I know this one!!!!!!!!!! Lovely!
