Philly Moon Rising Behind Wyoming's Grand Tetons? Yup!
I like "messin'" with images and it's not like the old days (about 25 years ago) when, if someone wanted to combine two or more photos, they'd have to do something like making "slide sandwiches."
The short version -- place one photographic slide (transparency) on top of another (the sandwich), lay the sandwich on a light table or some other source to backlight it, then photograph it and hope the resultant effect works.
Not any more; with image editing software like Photoshop, these days you can take any number of images, use the so-called LAYERS feature, adjust opacity/transparency, color, contrast, add filter effects (on every layer -- every image in the stack) if you like, "FLATTEN" the whole deal when you like what you see and SAVE AS whatever you care to name it.
By using "SAVE AS" rather than "SAVE", all your originals are retained unchanged and your "SAVED AS" image gets it's own name and exists as a new, separate image file!
Blah, Blah, Blah -- enough chat -- here's my latest "sandwich" -- a photo of the moon I took in front of my home in Philly, and a shot of the Grand Tetons in Wyoming
Eat up my sandwich with your eyes of course.

NOTE: For the record, I did more than just lay one image over the other but essentially, LAYERING made it possible to start.
Awesome Mac. (as always) It looks like a beautiful painting! Thanks for sharing!
When will you be doing, ''Moon over Miami''?
Beautiful sandwich Mac.
I'm waiting for Florida to mitigate its public nudity laws.
Oh, wait I see what you're saying
My misunderstanding.
Well, no "Miami" image but I do have a new Moonlight image for later maybe tomorrow.
LMAO, smart ass.
One need not have a particularly smart ass to moon over Miami
Actually, any dumbass can do it.*
* NOTE: Indicates tongue-in-cheek remark.
I would add to the tongue-in-cheek, but I'm afraid I'm be suspended..
Very nice A Mac. That is one heck of a moon there. Looks like it is just on the other side of the mountain. Could be an album cover, CD or whatever they have now.
When The Moon Comes Over The Mountain
Discretion is sometimes the best way to go.
Yup. I like it almost as much as a hot corned beef on fresh baked rye, with some deli mustard. LOL
Yeah, the spicy mustard is okay too. Of course it needs an old dill (Strub's old dill pickles are the best) and a little potato salad to go with it. And as Enoch has said, a Dr. Brown's diet cream soda. (IMO Vernor's diet ginger-ale is a good change of pace for the cream soda.)
I loved the Tetons... They looked like teeth, sticking up out of the valley! Such beauty...
Gorgeous picture!
