Philly Phall (Fall) Photos; the Good Colors Begin to Emerge

Running between my hangouts in the Pocono Mountains of Northeastern Pennsylvania and Philadelphia in the Southeastern part of the state, I get a double photo op at every season.

In the few couple weeks, I've posted the Pocono version of October -- and now, ladies and gentlemen -- Philly Phall Photos!

And these are just the start; I anticipate that over the next ten days some real good opportunities will present themselves

And (hopefully), I'll be there. If you're in the neighborhood, why not join me?

No fish -- but I noticed for the first time along the stream near where I took these photos, posted signs making the stream "Catch & Release"! It's along a part of the stream where I don't ever remember anyone fishing (other than myself).

Next week I'll give it a try. I left my fly rod up in the mountains so I'll fetch it back and see what's what. I haven't fished the "catch and release" stretch for at least two-three years.

Of course all your photos are fabulous, but it was particularly good to see one that had humans in it.

I find that humans as a species often tend to disrespect nature so I intentionally don't include them in my photos. The humans in this particular image are walking in an ecological trust area which fortunately seems to attract those who appreciate the earth.
