Mac....just curious...,do you ever do any framing using awood grain motif?
I can digitally create frames of endless variety and I'll post some in a future article. The reason I don't do so when marketing my images is because a buyer can choose any number of frames, mattes, papers, canvas, aluminum, etc. and I don't want to take those choices from them.
The digital "framing" I do allows for matting and framing by the buyer.
I will try to post an image with a digital frame that looks like wood (and possibly some other motifs) and try to do it no later than tomorrow.
Your paths beckon my imagination to wander along them. Thanks.
Buzz,
I hold hope that one day I can take you to these and a number of other paths, take you fishing, buy you dinner and drinks and talk for hours and hours.
Thanks. Plastic baskets just like that are used in the supermarkets in China - all red coloured. Shoppers have a choice of using carts or baskets when shopping. Using red colour for many things here is not a political thing. The colour signifies happiness and good luck.
Let's take a walk.

BF,
So you know, I am pleased to see you here and want you to know that all that political stuff we throw at each other is just that, "stuff".
I like, and can relate to your intensity.

Walking through the tree-lined paths
In the golden autumn haze
I spied a man armed with a lens
Crunching leaves as he stepped on them
Now who could that be? - I had to ask
Of course, it had to be you, dear Mac!
There is always hope.
I am honored and flattered by your poem, Neetu.
Many thanks.
It's like following the Red Road of Indian's Mac. Lost in the beauty of Mother Earth.
Here's one RW. Completely digital.
I believe in Yaqui culture it might be referred to as "A Path With a Heart."
Hey, Neetu, that was REALLY good!!!
The beautiful appearance of a burled wood, A.Mac. It absolutely compliments the photo, drawing the eye inward to it.
RW, why don't you post a photo of what your baskets looked like?
I second that.
You are most welcome, Mac . You inspired it.

Thanks RW,
Functional art is often not seen as "art" -- a phenomenon I explored in my Masters Thesis, "The Role of Presupposition in the Perception of Art."
It looks good to me!
Thanks for adding to the discussion. Hopefully others will follow.
Thank you, Buzz! Glad you liked it.
