Spain Had no Rain, Memorial Weekend.
I had the most lovely time in Spain, the food market was the most beautiful place.
From the Fresh fruit, and sugar Candy to the
nuts and chocolates. There wasn't a sweet craving that couldn't be filled
Nor a thirst that couldn't be quenched.
We stayed in the lovely village of Lloret de Mar, so quiet and friendly.
The beach was beautiful and the coast line breathtaking.
I love the differences in the color of the water depending on being near or far from land.
If you have the opportunity to go to Spain, Lloret de Mar, Barcelona, Tossa de Mar, it is all so beautiful and the people are so nice. Learn a bit of Spanish before you go they don't know much English.
I hear it is very pretty. We have people from Stars and Stripes who work in Rota. I wouldn't mind seeing it.
I hope you like the pictures.
How absolutely lovely! I love all the colors! And you're right, the water is gorgeous!
So the rain in Spain didn't "fall mainly on the plain"? LOL!
Although it was almost half a century ago, I thought that Toledo was a beautiful "museum city". I had rented a car to drive from Malaga to Marbella to see a bullfight, and thought at the time that the Spanish were the craziest drivers in the world.
However, on topic, your photos are magnificently colourful.
Deborah:
Did you check on the plain?
I understand that is where it mainly rains in Spain.
Beautiful pictures.
I have to admit wmolaw I wasn't paying much attention to the plain. That market was so beautiful I had a difficult time tearing myself away from that.
Thanks Buzz, I was so amazed at all the color, you just want to eat your weight in fruit but then you have to find facilities on the way and I'm not sure there are that many. . It was absolutely gorgeous!.
That weekend, it feel in Germany only. (^_^). I was glad to leave the rain behind me.
Wonderful photos Debora..
