Mal's New Lens

Mal's first non-telephoto lens... a Nikkor 40mm f2.8 Micro.
The mandala images were taken with the lens only 1/13 second f2.8 200 ISO... The yellow jacket images were taken with the lens on an extension tube... 1/4 second f??? 200 ISO...

That is so cool my doggie pal! I love the yellow jacket. I can even see her hairs. This is going to be a blast playing with. Think of all the little creepies that you can really get to know. I'd love to see a praying mantis!

That must be a great new lens because these are excellent pictures! I can't even tell which one is my favorite. I'm scared of spiders though so probably not that one. lol Grin.gif

We purchased it 9 years ago at a storeadjacentto the Boudhanath stupa in Kathmandu.
